			<description><![CDATA[<p>Thought we might do a thread on sports numbers, this being a lottery board with a Gaming Forum and all.<br /><br />Here&#x27;s a couple for starters:<br /><br />52.6% - the winning percentage needed to break even in sports betting to overcome the built-in vigorish of betting $11 to win $10.<br /><br />-5 - A pointspread of -5 in football is considered a sting number. If it&#x27;s a close game it&#x27;s often decided by a field goal. So your team wins by 1, 2, or three points but you lose the bet.</p>]]></description>
