Did you play $1 for the Pick 5 and $1 for the extra, making $2, or $1 for the Pick 5 and $2 for the $2 extra? From your post it sounds like those are the options.

To get specific, I played 17 boards and $2 EXTRA for a total of $19. I gave a $20 bill, and received $1 in return. The board consisted of numbers 03 08 12 24 32

The mistakes I discovered is the attendent keyed 5 numbers on the EXTRA ticket. Making an error of keying number 6 instead of number 8. Number 8 hit, not number 6. $1 fo... [ More ]

Virginia's got it too on the Pick3 but they call it Boost.

For an extra buck you get 5 extra 3 digit numbers on the ticket.

If your number matches one of those exact, you win.

Personally, I ain't never won jack on that. Not even close.

Only played it a couple times. Never again.

EXTRA! is an add-on game that lets you win instantly when you purchasea ticket for Pick 5. All EXTRA! numbers are automatically selected bythe computer.

Illinois used to have Extra! on Pick 3 and 4. It worked like this, the ticket was $1 and the Extra was $1, so if you played 124 and the Extra! you'd get something like this:

$1 $5 $10

and if any of your number had matched the Extra numbers you'd win that dollar amount.They had to line up, in other words the matching digit had to be in the same order.

tiggs sister lives in Surprise Az and she says they have the worst lottery ever..She said they don't even show the draw on TV is this true?..It is all computer right?..

Saturday morning, I purchased one $2.00 Extra ticket. The attendant inserted the numbers from a completed 5 table slip. The number 8 matched one of the 5 numbers on the 1st table.

The ticket reveals the following:

EXTRA $1.00

EXTRA

08 - $25

17 - $50

20 - $1

23 - $25

39 - $25

TOTAL = $2.00

You may choose either the $1 or $2 EXTRA! option. Prize amounts vary based on the purchase price, ranging from $1 to $250 for $1 EXTRA!, and from $2 to $500 for $2 EXTRA! .
