Well my lucky store crapped out...I was spending $3-$5 on QP for MM PB and won my money back and then some...like $12 one time and $100 a few weeks ago...this week I won nothing. I am just going to go back to the 7-11 down the road again from now on.

Get even? For what? They've been giving me most of my mail for a while now along with other people's mail so I'm happy. I leave the other people's mail in the box so they can take another shot at getting it to the right address the next day. My problem is when he gives the other people my mail cuz they either keep it or accidentally open it before giving it back.

So I'm happy as a fat rat in a cheese house for the time being.

I bet a lady in Bishop, Texas believe in Lucky Stores . She's won 4 different times at the same store for a total of over $20,000,000! Most of her winnings have come from Scratch Offs though but she did hit the Pick 6 on time I think. Was a newspaper article last month about her and her winning at the same store.

To me it seems most winnings happen at little gas stations or convenience stores. Don't recall very many winners from say larger grocery chains where they also sell.

I was talking to the guy that runs the local country store down the road from my house. he said the biggest winning ticket he has sold to date is 2,000. but if you go into town all the stores up there have multiple signs hanging out with the winning tickets they have sold and how much they were. plenty of 5,000 ,10,000 ,50,000 winners at the other stores. seems a little odd to me. the guy at the local store has been a retailer since the lottery began here in NC

I picked that as well, but my better option is a family run store or gas station over a corporate chain. (I'd rather the family gets the proceeds than a greedy corporation) There was a proverb or saying I read long ago about luck, something about the goddesses of luck and the goddess of knowledge... if you pay more attention to the one the other gets jealous, pursue the goddess of wisdom/knowledge and the goddess of luck will pursue you. Yeah, I had that happen with a slot machine on a river boat one time, dj. I kept hitting and hitting small ones that were really starting to add up to some big money when two guys showed up and said they had to service the machine (it was due for routine maintenance, they said). You go and get stats, like that solves the multitude of questions unanswered. If you've read my past posts on the subject, the kids dying was just one of a myriad of questions that can't be answered. Only 8 million is not an answer. I already wrote my laundry list on other threads. But you tried at least....good...

When all of your denominations can come together as one, and when all religions can agree on one concept, maybe then I'll listen. until then, it's just fantasy made up in yours and everyone else's mind.

You're absolutely correct. I have the right to disagree. It's my opinion. But they think that I'm trying to change their beliefs. Even if I was trying to change their beliefs, it wouldn't happen in a million years.

They simply don't like anyone with a different view, because they believe God has personally told them they are correct, and all the other trillions of religions are all wrong.

It makes me sick.

Why is it so difficult for them to understand?

That is simply an interpretation form the Bible, to which YOU and millions of others adhere to.

And Joker you are right, there are dietery LAws that ALMIGHTY GOD placed upon people what they should eat and not eat!! and It's good for us to stick to.....

but If you eat shell fish or sea roaches you are not going to HELL, HE said it would render you unclean for the day because you eat it!

There where also things like not Being in the same room with some one who died because it will render you unclean for 7 days... [ More ]

he has his moments of non profanity humanity. he just needs a dose of stopjerkitis from time to time

the thing is, i don't like to have to do that, but it's necessary for the respect factor, otherwise a guy like that turns it into an olympic sport, and that be an unecessary evil in here.

people like that attempt to intimidate others into silence , because most people don't want to go thru the effort it takes to step to someone like him.

You got that one pegged! I think he really means well, but when it comes to answering a direct question, the topic changes or becomes irrelevant to him. For eg. mortality, death, the answer to all who deny God, eternity is a concept that eludes those caught in a loop.
