Lotto Extra was discontinued in May. There is no more Lotto Extra game in New York.

It was great while they had it though....

Isnt that the same as getting 2 games for $1? Lotto gives you 2 games for $1 + Extra for $1. Better odds than MegaMillions. I see no point in PowerBall, nor playing SweetMillion as you get 2 free tickets with $5 on Take5.

Besides, Pick10 has 1:22 of winning $4. Thus, if you play all 5 games, you have 23% of getting 80% of yer $ back. No other game has such small odds on smallest prize.

Thats why I focus just as much attention on Pick 10 as I do Take-5.

Pick 10 is the only game I know of where you can have half the numbers drawn wrong....and still have a chance to win the fixed Jackpot.

Think about how great it would be if (Mega..for example) drew 10 balls and two mega balls every time....and you only needed to get 5 and one mega right to win. See my point.

I use a number of methods to narrow the Pick 10 field down.

Win4 has 1:10k odds for $5k. But Take5 has 1:575k for $57k. It's always split, so each gets $26k.

Not fair as $50,000 should be odds of 1:100,000. Rarely, prize is rolled over.

Same with Pick10. $500k should be 1:1m, but it's 1:9m. However, SweetMillion is $1m - 1:4m. Better to play Lotto or MegaMillions as 2nd prize odds are same. Also, divide Pick10 odds by 1/2, you get 5-40-10, same odds as 10-80-20, but prize is 10x of Take5.
