I agree with you-- HOW? As far as I can tell it was not in any current rundowns. What's interesting is that it came when not many were expecting it to fall--- another TN lotto tactic to keep the payout low. I doubt it stirred much interest in player confidence. Player participation is getting lower. I find it more fun to watch the #'s drop than waste money and time on them.

TN eve 637 P4 7279. They put on the news late Sun or Mon night that the TN lottery was short 10's of millions of dollars for the scholarships. They originally thought they would be down as much as 100 million. The legislators want TN to come up with ways to make MORE money or they will have to readjust the scholarships. That is the last I heard.

UPDATE ON LOTTERY SCHOLARSHIPS. Thanks to research by UT-Knoxville, the lottery scholarships are not operating in the red as stated on Mon. The lottery scholarships will actually have a hefty reserve. Guess Becky will have to think of another reason for low payouts.
