Not likely. The jackpot seems to be rising slowly because interest rates are low. Thus the cash value/annuity value is nearing historical highs, close to 70% for MM.

This means that a jackpot that is the largest ever in cash value might not show up even in the top 5 jackpots ever.

2 months from when the last jackpot was won. If you look at the MM's winning history you'll noticed that they are all within 2 months.

yeah,all the lottery has to do is pick numbers that no one has picked and give those out in a qp.they choose what area,state they want to give it to,like a high populated,or a poor area,but we're all poor now.

i think most people play the most popular numbers on predictions,hoping to win 3-4 bucks.there are millions of combinations left for the lottery to choose from,that nobody picks.we cannot play them all.

Yeah, for some reason I do better with the powerball then I do with the mega millions. and yeah I think $115 million is perfect number. still surprised no one won last drawing though.

Actually when I've played PowerBall I have done better than when I played MegaMillions even though the odds are better. With fewer bonus balls, PowerBall overall odds of a win are better which favor the lower tiers winners. Staying within my budget limits me to only playing one of those games so I play the one with the higher jackpot.

that statement is so wrong its sad

even if all 50 states could play mega millions

you would never see even half of all combinations sold to a jackpot at lest over 300m range

the truth of the cold hard facts

just cease More people CAN play, does not mean they Play

onless the jackpot in the high 250m ish range, not even close to 50% of all combinations sold

Over 40 states play Mega Millions; possibly, there are enough players to buy out all combinations when Mega jackpots reach $100 million high. We will not see anything gigantic jackpot soon. Still, I want to see it at over $200 million. It's the only fever that I want, much like other lottery players.
