PERDUE

Thank you much!

The Texas Million game had numbers from 0 to 99 that is 100 possible Pairs for each of the 4 positions.

The 0 was really a 00, the 1 a 01, Etc, 2 digits per number, that is it had all 10 decades from 0 to 9 and of course all 10 last digits from 0 to 9 also.

It was the only Jackpot game whose numbers started with 0 instead of a 1.

---------

I guess that maybe the odds of winning the jackpot on that game were not so good.

But those who won't it, if anybo... [ More ]

That game lasted for some time, but for some reason some people don't remember it.

The Tx2Step replaced it.

I also don't like the low payouts for the TxCash5 Jackpots, nor the low payouts for the lower prizes either.

Yes, I might perhaps like a game like the Pa's Quinto.

A Quinto game could be:

A pick 1, for the very first digit and then pay $5 for it.

A pick 2 (Pair) for the very first straight pair (first 2 digits) and pay $50.

A pick 3 for the first 3 straight digits and... [ More ]

When Cash 5 first started out the jackpots rolled over. They started at about $100,000 or something like that. At first the drawings were twice a week then were increased to four drawings a week. It was when the TLC changed the drawings to six times a week and reduced the number field from 39 to 37 July, 29,2002 , the jackpots no longer rolled over and they started paying for 2/5.

10-13-1995 TX Cash 5 first drawing was held.

11-25-96 the TLC started having four Cash 5 drawings per week.

Hey Lantern, that's pretty cool. I don't remember that game. I moved to Tx in 1998, but I didn't start playing until 1999, and then only bought Lotto tics.

I like Tx 2 Step, never miss a drawing.

I do wish they would get rid of Cash 5 and replace it with a game like PA's Quinto. The payoff is better and the odds are better than Cash 5.
