How do you account for the differences between actual and probable?

Drawings are random and anything can happen like the time there were 110 5+0 PB winners who got their numbers from fortune cookies. Probability only works over time with a lot of tickets. Lotteries aren't concerned when the number of winners come up short, just when there are too many.

A similar thing happened with PowerBall the same day and no one had all 5 WB even though 21,909,458 tickets were sold in the 42 states where it's played. Selling that amount of tickets, one would expect four 5+0 winners.

No one got all 5 WB and the mega ball but someone did buy a ticket with all the WB.

I'm thinking that ticket must have been a quick pick. Who picks numbers that are so high on one ticket?

Funny thing is, if I ever bought a QP ticket with numbers this high, I'd probably think I got ripped off by the lotto machine.
