I agree with you that some states have more lottery winners than others. I feel that it has to do with the pool of players, sometimes it can also be translated to a local level too. Some places in new york state have never won a big lottery prize at all while others win all the time.

i agree,if you live in a small population state say 500,000 people,it would take a hundred years for the quickpicks to catch up to the lottery quickpicks.in a state that has 10 million people you have a much better chance,unless their quickpicks are a lot of duplicates.

I won $8 in Mega Millions off of 1 line with Megaplier and won $21 in Powerball off of 1 line with Powerplay. So I spent $4 and won $29. I feel real good about it even though it is a small win...I have had small wins almost every time I play which isn't often.

Only reason I get Megaplier Powerplay is cause I want $1,000,000...would hate to get 5/5 +0 and only end up with $250,000 or $200,000...which is good but $1,000,000 for $1 extra seems worth it plus getting a smaller prize gets multiplie... [ More ]
