I sure wish they'd have the one off winners here in NC...I was one number off with 7 last night...was so upset I posted the pictures today on the NC thread......if they did have that I'd probably win all the time...

Im kinda thinking on the lines of what Lucky723 said. Perhaps use it as an 'insurance' policy to cover your bet as a separate ticket. only of you really feel that your numbers could come in. If you play a 3 digit number box/straight, then for just 1 dollar more, add a separate ticket with this '1 Off' option in case you are off by one and can still make $10 just in case. Or is this another devious lottery ploy to sucker us into making a 'sucker' bet ??!?! Hmmm..

Personally I don't like it at all ..

For example if at mid today you had played 004 instead of 400 and you played the 1$off option, you would have won nothing..

There is no boxed. The number has to be in the exact order..

Not for me.

Hi Omniscient,

I would only play this if for example I really like a Number lets Say the 114 and I put $10.00 on it. I would put $1 on the off one incase I Miss it by one break even. Otherwise I would rather make 50 cent straight bets for the same $250.00.

Hi all,

I happened to stumble upon this tonight on FL Lottery's home page where you can play the pick 3 lottery and have the choice to pick a box on your playslip that reads '1 off' and if your number hits exact on all 3, you win 250 dollars, but if your off by 1, you have 26 - 3 number combos that are 1 number off from your chosen 3 numbers. If any one of these 26 alternate combos hits, you win $10. Is this worth doing ?
