I actually have a QP my spouse got a year ago hanging up. The numbers are: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 with a PB of 30.

The odds of getting those are pretty slim. Hmmm...I think I'd rather have the odds of the winning ticket instead.

Hi jjttoe, are you actually saying to replay the QP right there on the spot as soon as you purchase it OR are you saying to keep the QP in play with future games.

This makes sense to me to replay that QP, reason being I purchased a Lotto QP while living in FL a few years ago and nothing came from it the night of the drawing, but for some mystical reason I decided to replay that very same QP for the next draw and caught 4 of 6, two more #'s and I would have gotten the $17 mill in 2003 so I kep... If you're going to play multiple lines of QPs throw in one set of numbers you pick to psyche out the machine.

Those last 5 lines look like a typical QP to me. Either duplicate bonus balls, multiple duplicate regular numbers (9, 52, 39) or very similar lines... I've seen the same type of thing on a few QPs. It may look weird but you never know what the drawing will be so I'm never worried about it.

The odds against matching the PB bonus number is 62 to 1 so on average you'll need to buy 62 QPs to get each of the bonus numbers. Because there are 39 bonus numbers, you'll see several duplicates. It's not that unreasonable to except to see two or more duplicate bonus numbers when just buying 5 QPs.

While I agree that it does seem to be suspicious when we buy 20 or 30 tickets in groups of 10 there are so many duplicates, as long as no two lines have all the same numbers, we are getting what... [ More ]

No, those don't look suspicious to me.

The ones that looks suspicious to me are the the $5 or $10 Quick Pick tickets that seem to follow a pattern of matches or very close numbers after the first one or two lines.

Does the above list of MegaMillion picks look suspicious or like bad numbers? The bonus number 36 appears 3 times and the numbers 14, 39, 41 and 52

I don't know about WV but a lot of stuff is suspicious with the TN lottery.

And they've been caught cheating inflagrante delicto before.

I noticed that years ago when I first started playing.

Computers seem to like repeating very close to what the first couple lines are.

Not all the time but it seems more often than not sometimes.

Whenever I get a lottery pool together I usually use a wheel since I believe it's gives me better odds of winning. Now the other day my husband ran and just got quick picks for the Power Ball since him and the guys got a small pool together.

So I was looking at the tickets and I couldn't believe how the machine spit out the numbers. There were many duplicates of numbers, and even the Power Ball number had a bunch of duplicates. Does anyone know why or how that happens? It almost feels like w... [ More ]
