Yes Newb I have backtested.......I am targeting the 4/5 numbers and usually have several 5 numbers and 4 numbers amongst the lines 8 out of 10 times but it is way too many lines to play. E.g. the past draw, the 36 number set that had the 6 winning numbers, reduced with the filters I use had 2792 lines. These lines contained 95 three numbers, 7 four numbers and 1 five number amongst the lines...........hence the need to reduce the lines further to a managable amount to play. No accounting for hum... [ More ]

Have you back tested your method to see how it performs against previous winning draws? It seems a lot of lines are being played for 2 x 3 matches.

time*treat........at the moment the reduction method seems to be taking care of pairs and triplets depending on the setting, but I will have to do some more work to see how accurate it is.

RJOH......with the strategy I am using at the moment I use two sets of 36 numbers that cover all 49, and am hoping to see how well progressive betting will work up to a maximum of 100 lines. The first draw I played 34 lines and got 2x3 in the lotto and 1x3 in the lottoplus, the second draw I played 74 li... [ More ]

Thanks garyo1954.

What I am doing at the moment to get a reduction is generating lines using filters, then from the filtered lines I randomly select a line to use as a starting line, and then do a comparison limiting the matches to that line up to a chosen level. So lets as an example say after filtering I have 100 lines that I want to reduce further and the randomly selected line from the 100 is 1 2 3 4 5 6, I compare to each of the 100 lines and limit the matches starting at 0. So the fi... [ More ]

I don't have experience with either program, but likely they have built in key factors that tie the group together. In that case, you need to determine what factors were used in producing it. If, however, you just asked for 2000 random lines of number, that may be what you have.

I take it nobody has any ideas or suggestions they would like to share? Been searching the mathematics forum but haven't found anything useful there. Will probably look at pairs and line overlap with a random process to see if I can get a useful line reduction.

Does anybody have an idea as to how Lotwin and Avanced Lotto tool do their reduction of lines. For example if you play 6/49 and you end up with 2000 lines after filtering, you can reduce it to a guarentee of 3if6 assuming all winning numbers are amongst your 2000 lines. What concepts do they use for their reduction? Pairs/triplets? Minimising line overlap? Does anybody have some reduction code in BASIC, or even pseudo code, or know where I can have a look to find an example?

Thanks
