The lottery officials are too greedy to loosen the edge.

if 10,000 people buy a product at: $6 if you get more influx of people let s say: 20,000 buying your product then the price will go down from: $6 to: $3 for you cant jack up the price...

If the officials did that, they would not gain anything. You have 10,000 more customers, but you cut the price in half........It evens out. The government is here to bilk as much money as possible. That's why they hate online gambling.

The per capita sales of all lottery games in California is $83 a year and if 3% of that population (1.1 million) plays pick-3, they don't play very much or very often.
