Thank you ,rdgrnr, for such a nice compliment. I remember where I first saw that saying.....it was on a small shopping bag from a pharmacy in Macon, Georgia when my husband and I lived there in 1956. Oh my, 54 years ago!

One off again as usual. Had 1457 and what came in? 4577! Rebbecca loves doing that to me. I can picture her cackling as she reads this.

Yes, I bought several tickets for Georgia cash three tonight, but AGAIN Ms. Margaret foiled my winning plans. Later when I pulled in my driveway the view of the moon was just beautiful. I spent a minute or so gazing at the moon and another few minutes remembering my younger days. One of my favorite sayings is: Of all the joys life can bring, rememberance is the sweetest thing. How sweet it can be!

Yeah, it's also called the beaver moon when it's in November. I like the sound of that for some reason.

The November full moon is referred to as the beaver moon. This name goes back to revolutionary times when the colonists and the Algonquin tribes would await the arrival of the beaver moon to know it was time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze in order to have a sufficient supply of warm winter fur. The beaver moon is also called the frost moon.
