In other words, if your efforts in looking for pattern verifications lead you to the conclusion that '10 20 30 40 50 B 11' or '777' is a good candidate , then you would play that set.

Relative is the best description.

1 in 1000 odds produce a fair certainty in Pick 3.

1 in 195, 249, 054 produce a fair uncertainty in Powerball.

Apples to oranges.

It's just as highly unlikey for it to show as it is for any other combination before it is examined. Only after a full examination can it be determined whether it's a good candidate.

The number 984 had the same chance of coming as any other combo a few years ago, but after I set up my charts and examined in detail all the angles, I realized that 984 had the best chance to show that fateful day in Florida. Well, since there are only 10 triples out of a thousand possibilities, I'd say they are rare. Recently in Florida, they've showed their faces more than the average estimates, but those events happen and then go back to normal.....for the most part.

But the point I'm trying to make is : Since it's Highly unlikely for such combinations to be drawn, don't waste your time and cash, if you can help it..

Triples are rare? I didn't know that. Try a few numbers here and see how often they hit over 32 years. It's fun to compare numbers like 333 and 537.

My comment in no way discounts the fact that a method to increase the chances of hitting a higher tier prize does not exist. A trained eye can either remove or add numbers in combos tailored to have a better chance to hit for a specified period of time, like one or two draws, but nevertheless, they all still have an equal cha... Picking your own numbers has its advantages if you look at what is happening overall. Naturally this leads back to the question of don't more quick picks win than handpicked numbers. Mathematically speaking if 70% of the tickets sold are quick picks, then there should be no surprise if quick picks win more often.

In the Florida lotto there have been around 2,288 draws since 1988. (22 years)

The total combinations in the Florida lottery is about 23,000,000......

It would take 968 years to draw 1,000,000 combinations.

In about 22,264 years, all the combinations will be drawn.

1-2-3-4-5-6......just like the other 22,997,712 combinations that haven't shown yet, will someday show......

1-2-3-4-5-6 has the same chance of showing as any other combo, but it's illusion of consecutives makes it appear as a rare possibility. It's simply an illusion. So the moral of the story is that structured combinations are just illusions.

The truth is, RollChris, that technically, those numbers have the same chance of coming in as any other numbers.

Which is about as likely as the US Army sending in a Tank Retriever to pull down that statue of the murderer Pancho Villa you have in downtown Tucson, like they did with Saddam Hussein's statue in Baghdad.

It looks okay to me..

but I would put it in the 'less likely to be drawn' category

the reason is that if you look at the past draw results, it's very rare to have one number from teens, one from twenties, one from thirties and so on..

so this is a combination that in my opinion would be less likely to be drawn. But you'd never know! It just might pop up

Of course, I realize I'll probably never win the lottery with any of these numbers anyway, but I am just curious. In a related vien, I play the regular number 4-26-39-41-44--37. When you enter that number, there are 15 matches of 3/5 numbers, averaging out to more than one match every year since 1997. I have a question I would be interested in hearing feedback from others on. I play regular number 13-22-34-49-57--30 for Powerball, I got this number from the cypher sent to Thomas Jefferson over 200 years ago that was solved in the past few years. I absolutely believe this number will appear eventually and I can see it appearing.
