You can compare it with the TN ticket which looks the same, but pays out up to a million in GA and only $250,000 in TN. Ours has typical bad odds of 1 in 3.27, but is still better than thr TN odds of 1 in 3.63.

I hope that the black ticket that is coming out here is not as bad as the TN ticket, which has odds of 1 in 3.63. Those are terrible odds for a $10 ticket. I guess we will have to wait and see. I am glad to see some more ending games, but I am going to start a new thread about that. By the way, I have heard of some very large wins on new games. If you won on 3 out of 4 times that you played, I sure would be playing the heck out of that game, just to see if there weren't any big winners.

tn lottery also has the TN Lottery Black game. Very sleek looking card, came out about 2 or 3 months ago I think. It is also a $10 scratchoff with a winning amount of $250,000. SC has it as well but for only $200,000 (it must have come out in Dec or is coming in Jan -- saw the ads while there a few weeks ago).

If memory serves, the TN one doesnt have very good odds. I think I bought one right when they came out but the odds just didnt appeal to me compared to other games.

I have exactly $2,167 worth of losing scratch off tickets that I have purchased since mid September. I am going to take them all in tomorrow, and scan them on the do it yourself scanner in the stores, the ones that let you scan your tickets and see if they are winners. I have not added up my losses due to online draw games such as Fantasy 5 and Cash 3, but I am certain that it adds up to hundreds of dollars. I might end up hogging the terminal for several hours. Hi there, Matt, I am very psyched about a new $10 game that is supposed to be coming out soon. I believe that it is an all black ticket, and is aptly named Black . I shall see if it has appeared on the GLC website yet. It is being heavily advertised, and is a $10 game.

Matt, I am glad that at least you have more sense than me. I should and do know when to quit, but the problem is that I am not a quitter. I very well may have OCD. I have definitely decided to end my relationship with $5 games for the most part. After Holiday Gifts ripped off my head and sh_t down my neck, I quickly stopped playing that game. It went from no free winners, a $15 to $20 winner almost every 3 tickets to one winner of a free ticket every 5 or 6 tickets. I still prefer the $20 games and the occasional $10 game. Wow, that is rough and I am sorry to hear of it. Remember, though, it could always be worse.

I think Lotteries (casinos, and pretty much anything good in life) are designed for exactly that: lure you in with a good win, only to set you up for failure to crash and burn.

I had a similar experience earlier this year with the TN Milliionare ($20) games but luckily in the end I recouped half of my loss, called it a day and deposited the $ in the bank (it spanned 2 or 3 days though, but I am 'ha... [ More ]

Sorry to hear that, CarHauler. I spent about $100 Christmas Eve and $80 yesterday, and got about 1/3 and 1/2 those amounts back. Problem is all the small winners. 3 out of 5 Money Money Moneys won yesterday, but for $10 on each win. I think after today I will ease up greatly until the new tickets are out - maybe set a $10 a day limit until then. Maybe the tickets are played out in both our states. Hoping our luck improves

It is almost like I have actually lost my mind, and have suffered from some brain disorder. I originally spent $260 on scratch-offs Christmas day, and lost $75 of that, meaning that I still had $185 worth of winners. It was not too terrible, but I made sure that it ended up much worse. By that point in time, I had bought 2 $20 losers from the same roll of tickets. I bought 007, and it lost. When I came back, it was on 011. You guessed it, it lost as well.

I do not play one of two Tennessee $20 games very much at all (maybe 3 times a year, just buying one or 2 tickets) but I have won $100 around the first month of this year (two $50 wins on one ticket). Bought from the other roll in the machine and got $30.

I won $100 on it today off of one ticket. It would have been even better if I did not have $65 worth of other losers playing other games. I cannot believe that I am still $35 in the hole for the month, but this is mainly due to stupid acts on my part. I have won $150, $100 3 times, $75 and $40 this month alone, but this has been on four different games, and the majority on two games. Is this game worth pooling for? In other words, could 2 people split the cost of a roll of tickets, and expect to come out ahead? My preliminary research indicates that there is approximately one $100 winner every two books in this game. Purely from an odds point of view, this game has a 56.25% greater chance of hitting $100 when you compare it to Jingle Jumbo Bucks. I know what you are thinking: Go for it! That really sucks. Of the three I have purchased, two lost, and one won $25. The winner was the last one on the roll. My overall impression is that I don't have one. I do know that I am not too keen on the idea of spending $20 to win $5. I can do that with a $5 ticket any day of the week.

What is a good ticket number for Maximum Green? I was in store that I regularly shop at, and there was three rolls of this ticket, and they were all on number 004. I thought this was odd, and was wondering if this was coincidence, or just a losing ticket number.
