I see that the last digit was an even digit 9 times straight. How often does that happen with your lottery? If this occurance was rare, then discard it. If it occurs often, then play accordingly. I believe you will find a run of 9 even digits to be rare. More than likely the average will be 4.5 times in a row. So waiting until there is a run of 6 even digits in a row would be a good indicator of when to wager but not an indicator of what digits to play.

If you flip a coin three times there is a 1 in 4 chance that the outcome will be the same for all three flips. Could be 3 heads. Could be 3 tails.

The odds of getting 3 heads in a row = 1/8 = 12.5%

The odds of getting 3 tails in a row = 1/8 = 12.5%

The odds of getting 3 of either one in a row = 1/8 + 1/8 = 2/8 = 1/4 = 25%

There's no conflict.

If started playing after the 5th draw I would have only lost twice, one bet of $62.50 and second bet of $125.

Today Jan 22nd would be the third bet of $187.50

From back testing i'm still looking good because the latest change was at 9 and so far they are at 7 .

HHH or TTT -- same side showing up 3 times in a row

HHT or TTH

HTH or THT

THH or HTT

The odds of a fair coin showing the same side three times in a row are 2 in 8, or 25%.

Two more flips (total of five) brings the odds to 2 in 32 (6.25%, which is less than 10%) of showing the same side 5 times in a row.

A suckers bet, even if you pick and it is correct they will just say it was a product of random

chance. I don't believe in random so there whole game means nothing to me. I have yet to

see a true random event in my life and I never will, why, because like luck it does not exist.

I understand the rationale of using 50/50. It is the simplistic term for saying 'it will occur, or it won't.' Those are the possibilities in a singular event.

In that light, lottery drawings are not a singular event no more than three people consecutively tossing a coin. We accept it as singular for a matter of convenience.

But in reality a lottery drawing it a short series of multipe events taken as a singular, the same as if you toss a coin, then I toss a coin, and a third person tosses... [ More ]

When I say profit, it's because the every amount that was put in was subtracted from the prize.

I don't know who that guy is, i used the head/tails because it's common and easier to start the discussion.

I do believe the odds will always be 50/50, I said it before. I agree with you and everyone else that has stated their opinion.

But at the same time I do believe the trend has to change because of those same odds, it can go forever and that is where i am trying to build my game plan.... [ More ]

I agree. And this guy couldn't even get his odds right while making his pitch!

Everyone knows that the odds of a coin flip are 50/50. But few people know that the odds of one side showing up 3 times in a row go from 50% to 25%, and for 5 times in a row the odds crash to less than 10%.

It's the same game everyone is playing, I just broke my categories into a 50/50 for statistical purposes.

I didn't notice you were doubling up, I'm sorry....But if I were doubling up the payout is double, the prize amount would increase also...here's an example

1.$62.50-miss

2.$125(doubled up-wager 2 units) -miss

3. $250(doubled up-wager 4 units)- win $900

I agree with you, I agree with coin toss and I agree with Jimmy..........But you cannot forget of the biased trend. Sooner or later the opposite has to hit, if it wasn't going to happen then it will not be 1/2 odds.(50/50 means in the long run they should almost have the same amount of appearances, even if they are off by some decimal points

Agree with Coin Toss statement re: no memory. With that said, I would probably play heads because something (doesn't matter what - we'd never know anyway) was making heads come up more often at that moment in time. I'm a believer of the trend is your friend .

If the prize is $225.00 then you could only lose 1 times and come out ahead.

1. $62.50 - head

2. $125.00 - head

3. $250.00 - tail - win $225.00

Even if you win the third time, all you've done is cut your loses to $5.00

Certainly not trying to dissuade you. Here's my thoughts on what you are truly asking:

You intend to play 125 numbers at .50 each. You will play these numbers STRAIGHT since that is the only way you will make a profit.

125 numbers is 1/8th of the total 1000 combinations. Each number is expected to hit every 2 to 3 draws.

If I'm on the right track, I'd suggest picking your numbers carefully and research skips.

Money management will keep you in the game longer....this is very true and I agree

BUT

Knowing when to play + Money management is the best combo

You can't play every flip because you will lose, you have to have a starting point. On a 50/50 chance I believe it should be 5+

I don't have enough testing to back me up on it at the moment........

basis. If the money meant nothing to me I might play Tails for the excitment but in reality I

would have to stand and watch. The more money wagered the more exciting the game would

Looking at the above information Heads has came up 5 times in a row.

If I bet$62.50(1 unit) that the 11th flip will be Tails and miss, I lost $62.50---a win will get me $225

If I bet $125(2 units) that the 12th flip will be Tails and miss, I lost $125+$62.50=$187.50---a win will get me $450

If I bet $187.50(3 units) that the 13th flip will be Tails and miss, I lost $187.50+$125+$62.50=$375 ---a win will get me $675

A playing strategy for Baccarat is progressively betting on streaks and the rule of thumb is to bet on the streak or not bet at all. When it gets to the point when you think the streak might be ending, lowing the bet is an option too.

On casino table games house limits exist to kill steamers and progressive systems, whcih are called Martingales (double up and catch up).

Theorhetically, if somonee had a large enough bankroll they could just keep playing until they won, regardless of how many losing bets they had to get through.

But in the long run, even if there was no limit, that finally bet, the winner, would produce a gain of one unit (whatever unit you atre betting, $1, $25, etc...)

I've seen this done for a profit on roulette.

But you've gotta have a loss point where you get out. If you play these odds enough you can do alright, but you've got to survive the short falls.
