You should check out the latest version of Deflate. I have improved the interface, and it opens by default with the filter selections hidden (collapsed), eliminating the confusion you mentioned.

If you want the filters, just click the Filters button, and they open on the screen.

Also, I have now included mouse-over help tips next to every filter type, so you can easily and quickly see how each filter works right alongside the filter.

The Deflate tools are simple wheels. The most valuable parts of it is the key-numbers section and the Pairs section. I no

longer use it because I created my own wheel to my liking. another thing someone mentioned that is useful is going to your

state for predictions.

Make sure you check the box under the state so you dont get all possible combinations. Then go to the prediction tools and choose to your liking.

When i use the features it's because I'm looking for something specific like how many numbers each year came out boxed or straight the most times deflate is good for this. I simply copy and paste a years worth of numbers in the features and deflate or inspect them.

Inspector will tell me what sums came out the most etc.

I use the inspector tool to get my weekly pairs list. It will give the information of what types of numbers fell, the hottest and coldest digits and the hottest and coldest pairs. It also gives root sums, numbers sums and sum of the last digit. I also use it to determine which pairs have not hit over a certain amount of time. The only thing I don't like about the inspector is that it will delete all like combinations instead of keeping just one of them. Example-125,521,215..it will delete all of... [ More ]

For those objecting to what i wrote it's almost a no brainier to read what the deflate and inspector features do.

Like most people who buy something from a store that has instructions they automatically start putting it together before they even bother to read the instructions and then wonder why midway through their having problems putting it together.

I think this is a great idea! Four4me is right that the page has detailed instructions on how it functions, but the REAL value is in coming up with the creative ways to use it either alone or together with other features and data.

I'll provide a tip here for loading data into Deflate and Inspector.

Not trying to be a smart a-- here but have you read the instructions on the deflate and inspector pages it gives a pretty complete description on what they do.

From that point it's up to the individuals as to what numbers to deflate or inspect, what filters to use etc.

It's about conversations, exchanging ideas, information, and etc.

Otherwise no real need for forums! Or Lottery Post for that matter ... IMHO.

I use this tool from the predictions board, I will scroll down to my state and deflate the pick 3, then I filter out the triples and it will give me an idea of the hot or most frequently numbers being played that day.

I really like the inspector tool the best for looking at past data.

they are both great tools for looking at data.

I may not be an expert, but lesson 1. This example is for Ca Eve, 1/28/11.

1.Load Deflate with 1000 combos

2. I know from other software, that Root 2 6 are overdue, select Root Sum Filter 2 and 6, Deflate numbers. Results below

The tools are primarily analysis tools. It is basically up to the user to go step by step thru an analysis to end up with one number.

I'm thinking of trying to play just one number for $5 to hit straight. Would these tools be any help in finding one number?

I'm not interested in playing boxed. I've been playing Cash 5 which is 5/37. Problem is the odds are 435,897 to 1 for a jackpot that ranges from $20,000 to maybe $25,000. And it's parimutuel. The odds in Pick 4 are pretty attractive by comparison, but...... $5 to play for the same prize.

When using the inspectors for the 3 and 4 game and you decide on a group of numbers to sort out use the search drawings history. You will come up with the history by dates of up to 10 numbers entered.

The name of the game in the pick 3 and 4 is to come up with a list of plays you think will hit in a short time span. Time is money in this game.

One of the things to look for when using the inspector are percentages in all the breakdowns the inspector gives on your draw history.

Use varying time spans to see how the numbers are running based on percentages.

The inspector is grouping your numbers in all the various breakdowns the inspector gives.

It has been on my mind for a long, long time!

I could use a 101 class and then the advanced learning classes these areas.

I have had my Platinum color for just about a year now and have been a little

intimidated with these two tools.

Searching the archives has not helped me get a good understanding on how
