It turns out my cousin is out of the country on vacation. I clicked the marketplace link on usa mega in order to find an online ticket buying service which I used to purchase tickets for Saturday's draw. Unfortunately, I didn't win anything. I hope I have better luck with canada 6-49 this wednesday. Good luck on the Ohio Classic if you decide to play.

If you do win, you will have to pay the state income tax on any money earned in Ohio plus you'll probably want to share your winnings with your cousin even if you sent her money to buy your tickets. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

There are other payment options, like Neteller, Moneybookers, etc. I have personally used MasterCard in the past, so maybe it was not working when you tried. Anyone who wants to see what payment methods there are can go there. I don't want to debate this here, it's kind of pointless. The fact you can use a credit card at all is a good thing, plus there are other options.

I clicked on the usamega link on marketplace. The website has visa and mastercard logos on the bottom of the page but from my experience, I just signed up this weekend, the only credit card they take is American Express. I ended up having to borrow my mom's Amex card to set up the account.

Powerball is over $100 million but I like the canadian 6-49. it's $30 million for the lump sum and canada doesn't tax lotto winnings. Also the odds seem much better

Nothing happened to Betslips, as far as I know. I checked out the new site and was very happy with everything, including the vast selection of games, the price, the payment options, and the ability to get a scanned image of the purchased ticket. When I evaluate a service, the most important factor is assurance that the ticket was purchased, and I don't think it gets better than that.

When the law went into effect that made internet gambling illegal in the United States, Todd stopped promoting and allowing discussion of those services. betslips doesn't offer the games I want to play, the ohio classic lotto and the canadian 6/49. Both are a 1 in 14 million odds and their jackpots are over $20 mil.

the Ohio classic lotto is looking real good right now. I have a cousin living in Ohio, maybe I can get her to buy me some tickets. Anyone know if I have to pay the 6 percent Ohio state income tax if I win? Oh well, I probably won't have to worry about it, 14 million to one says I won't win.

Indeed, please click through one of the links there and try them out. They even offer a ticket scan service for many games, guarateeing the ticket was purchased for you.

You can use a regular credit card too.

To try it, go to www.usamega.com, and click on the game of your choosing in the marketplace section on the right side. Go through the purchase process all the way through payment, and see how easy it is.

i just noticed todd changed the market place, it use to like to a site that just sold usa lotto tickets

now its some lotto site that sells world wide it seems

however something on that site makes me thing its the must legit one yet

USAMega (LP sister page with a link on the left of this page), has an online site where lotteries can be played. I'm sure other sites would love to have the free advertisement that an open discussion about them could generate. In the past, people joined LP just to freely promote their own websites which didn't help anyone but themselves.

I don't see any problem with discussing what sites are legitimate and what sites are not for lottery gambling..We need to be educated in order to choose wisely!

If a lottery site was financially risky for me to use, I sure wouldn't mind knowledge about it beforehand..

I think I understand the reasoning behind this rule and even though I'm not up for online gambling myself, I normally would think this would be the place to find answers to some questions people may have. e.g. Is there reputable site offering lottery gambling or What precautions should be taken if I was to gamble online?

I've seen in alot of posts that some use online lottery sites. Would anyone be willing to share what sites are the best. It's always scary to put money into a site without first knowing others experiences with them. Thanks for sharing.
