A few years ago I was riding DART (the public transit in Dallas) from the VA back to my home. There is a transit point called West End to switch from the blue line to the red line. There is always a lot of people from all walks of life there.

The Subject Guide in my Bible says nothing about gambling. The way that I see it, it is only a sin if gambling takes over your life. I saw a man whose car had a bumper sticker that said, Jesus is the answer go into a store and play the lottery.

Christianity is too much pressure on anyone. Imagine if you did win. God would just force you to give it all away. That's not the kind of pressure I would want to live under.

Don't worry about gambling with the p-3 games.

Having to choose the right God is a gamble in itself. If you pick the wrong God to worship, you could end up in the bad part of town somewhere up there in the ether.....lol

I think its ok to play as long as you are smart enough to control your winnings and losses... cant always play everyday...and make sure you donate your winnings back to church or God or help someone in need...

My wife and I often play at the service counter of a grocery store. During the Holiday season when the Salvation Army bell ringers are present I don't know how many times I've seen someone who has played lotto be the ones to give something to the Salvation Army while most everyone else just walks past them.

I See it this way. Its not a sin to play.

Its a sin to when you hurt yourself or someone else because of it.

Whenever I win something significant , I always donate something to a charitable cause, for Example St Judes children Hospital,Local Churches, etc..For Some reason it makes me feel alot better.

I think it's more up to you and how comfortable you feel playing or not. If it feels like a sin to play then I wouldn't. But if you are playing and having fun with no guilt then good luck to you and hope you hit big
