I am not sure about the Second chance, but in the last 2 weeks I have had at least 4 tickets ($5) that have had 2 winning numbers on the ticket.

Last week I won twice on $5 Empire State on #003 and #004, small hits, but they added up to $45.00. (each ticket had 2 winners)

This morning, I hit 2 #'s on a $5 Extreme Cash for $5.00 each (ticket # 087).

Is anyone here doing the Magic 8 Ball promo?

I realize it's a low paying scratch off (25G jackpot) but I've been doing the second chance to win thing. I bought two tickets since last Sunday, and won twice on each ticket. On Sunday's ticket I won 8 bucks, and today I won 10 bucks. I've never seen two winners on the same scratch off before. Is that something new? The thing that bugs me about them is I cant enter them in the second chance sweepstakes.

Instead of spending $100 I only bought $60 worth of tickets, 4 $5 Extreme Cash and 4 $10 Triple million.

all four extreme cash were duds, but the triple millions turned out well. I bought #08-11, #09 was a $15 winner, #10 was a $10 winner and #11 was a $90 winner surprisingly. Here was the $90 winner:

bought a roll again of the $10 triple million for $500.....only got back $280.....if i just bought the first 20 tickets from 001-020 i would have ended up with a profit....from 020-050 was horrible....$300 worth...only $80 winners lol....4 $15 winners and a $20 winner...highest winners were a $50, $40,and 2 $30.......

So curiosity got the better of me and I went ahead and purchased two of those new $20.00 tickets - in spite of the odds, I figured I'd give it a try. Both were losers, but I didn't realize until after I purchased these tickets that the numbers have increased from 30 to 50!! It's only #'s 1 - 30 on the $10.00 tickets.

Not only that but the winning numbers have been reduced to six. How the heck can you win with six numbers out of fifty??

I feel the same way about the PA Lottery - unless you get very lucky, it's hard to win anymore. I wonder if NY and PA use the same distributor? If my senior citizen parents benefited more from the money I give to the state, then I'd feel better about giving all I've given. The 2 states are paying out less than they did before to the Lottery players.

gotta agree ny scratchers are some of the worst ive played. you can tell the difference simply by comparing how many times florida players hit $500 vs ny players.

That's almost the same odds as a $10.00 ticket. If they're going to come out with a ticket that's twice as expensive, why can't they make the overall odds something like one in 2.5 - with the chances of winning smaller, $500.00 prizes 1 in 700, or something like that

I do think they have more winners when they first come out, to kinda create a buzz about the tickets.

I will never buy another roll again. You spend too much and the winnings never add up to what you spent.

I've only gotten stars which mean the same thing, just different symbol. Never actually gotten the 10x though I have gotten many 2x, 3x, and 5x--Usually $25-$50 winners.

edit: I bought 4 $5 triple 7 tickets and did very well. First ticket I won $10 with the number matching on bottom, second I got three 7's in a row for $15 dollars (tripled prize of $5) and on the last ticket I hit 3x and won $30. Overall a $35 profit, about snip time.

yea no more rolls for me until the new $20.....i already told the store clerk to hold all the new $20 rolls when he gets his first package with the new tickets. he told me he gets 3-5 rolls.....$1,000 per roll lol....when i buy rolls i mostly just scratch it at the store and scan it...if the lottery fails me again then i am DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel for you...I did the same thing today..no big winners, the most I got on one tickert was $40...spent $500 got back $275

when I won $600 $300 on this ticket I didn't buy the roll..I bought a few, scratched, bought more, scratched BINGO! I got it, more than once.

After today's loss I am now saving my money for the twenty dollar coming out on 10/4/2011

In my experience the $30 tickets stink. I know one lotto clerk for many years and he said he only see $35, $40 $100 and not very many. I of course had to learn the had way thinking I was going to be the lucky one, but lost my shirt. Now I only buy $30 when I see #45 - 50.

The $20 win for life is the same, $20, $30, $40 $100, and you have to buy a lot to get to one of those winners.

I think that the $5 $10 is the best bet if you buy in groups like 5 or 10....I watch the numbers,

According to the lotto clerks I talk to, the $30 ticket has mostly $35 winners and a few $100....they say no one buys them because you spend more

than you win. The person who does buy them has to go thru a lot to get the $100....it's just not worth it. There is going to be a new $20 ticket coming

finished my last scratch off outing in nyc. chased the $30 ticket from #22 down to the last ticket. clerk said no big winner on the roll when i started. hit $100 twice ( #01 and #02 ironically) $50 once $35 3 times and $30 twice. so lost around $270.....

played in 2 stores today....in the end lost about $100 again of my cash minus the winning tickets....had about 3 or 4 $50 winners, 2 $30 winners, $25 winner, $20 winner, and a few $10 and $5.....lol with the winnings and my cash included should be about $350-$400 that i lost today......it was fun but i wish i could end up with a profit lol....played only $10 and $5 tickets.....couldnt remember all the winning tickets numbers cause i just scratched the codes and scan each ticket....the new $5 whe... everyone in ny expects a tip. even after spending $1k in just one store and then cashing some winners the clerk looks at me like he expects more than the $100 in commission he just made off of me........

I bought it at the corner news stand where I normally don't buy...I bought the winning triple millions because they were out in the open hanging down

where I could see them so I just bought some on a whim. I did not tip them because they never give me any tips on what they think is winning or

I usually do NOT tip the clerks. I look at it like this, I spend tons of cash on tickets and usually just ask the clerk has there been any decent wins today? ....99% of the time they just answer naw, just people winning their money back .

I don't think I need to tip when they just rip a ticket from the book and hand it to me. I pay the machine most of the times too.

I bought the $10 NY Triple Million (goldish green)) many losers over a few weeks, but finally I won $600! It was #12...I matched the number 24 for $300 and then a coin for another $300....for a total on one ticket $600. I cashed it and paid no tax because it was $600 or under! Yay. The odds on $600 is 1 in 1,680 not too bad for that $10 ticket

chased the $5 cashword tickets from #77 to #97 all i got was $5 winner somewhere in the middle then #97 $100 winner....cashword games takes too long to play so i scratched each tickets and scanned them. spent $100 on that game and won $105....wooo $5.................then played a few other $10 and $5 games...had a $30 winner, $25 winner, and a few $10 winners.........in the end even with the winners i still lost around $100 from my wallet today.......another day in ny lottery.........

Hi, I entered all my Monopoly losers (about 25)...won 1st prize...the most I ever won on the Monopoly $10 ticket was $100. I try to buy 5 at a time, if I win I will buy other $10 tickets. If I lose I will continue to buy that same ticket until I win or run out of cash, whichever comes first. ny lottery is a rip off completely.I have been staying away from scratch offs but i been playing jackpot games and hard.My game of choice is the sweet million from ny lottery.I had 5 out of 6 numbers twice in the last two drawings and all you win is 500 bucks.I think that if first place is a million theres no way second place should be just 500 bucks.I hate the lottery i guess ill never be rich.

another crappy day in new york.....chased the $10 monopoly from #50 to #17......sigh....only 2 $10 winners, 2 $15 winners, 2 $20 winners, 1 $50 winner.... stopped right after the $50 winner.....spent $340 got back $140....from now on either a few tickets to bring home or a roll.........havent been doing well the past 2 weeks ago.....i would say i lost at least $1,000 the past 2 weeks and i have only been playing once every few days....

I went to Little Italy on tha 10th and went into this card/lotto store in there (forgot tha name but it had a counter and three vending machines). At first, I bought a $5 New York Poker and lost. For today, I had bad luck wit gettin' a bag. I arrived at tha store at 6:32 PM, about an hour before it closes, and they already threw tha bag out. :(
