I run a pool at my office and every 2 weeks(payday), the 13 members put in $4 and I buy a mix of Powerball and Louisiana Lotto tickets. I roll back small prizes into the pool for more tickets. Last year with the Millionaire Raffle going on, we won $10 on one round and I polled the membership to see if they wanted to buy a raffle ticket and the majority said yes. If we win enough this time, I'll do another poll and do the same if the majority agrees.

not that i suggest this is what you use, but its a 20 number wheel. so ea person could get to pick 2 numbers each.

if all 5 come on the 20 numbers, theres about 15% chance of hititng a pick 4, if that even gives a prize.

although its 1-20, u can just replace them with a persosons prefered number, ie 1= 29 2=31 etc.

but as someone mentioned ask people what they want to play.

i can also do a wheel where you likely to get say 2 numbers, but the pool you have in action is large... [ More ]

Take a vote with all the players, get everything in writing so there no problems down the road .

Have the operator with the power to pick which game to play for each drawing. I would change between Florida lotto and Powerball....

Powerball was won, so switch to Lotto. If PB goes to huge numbers switch to PB.

And if Illinois lotto got huge I would switch to that one.

You need advice from the people in the group, not a bunch of people on the internet. They may say they don't care, but it's their money so they should decide how to spend it. Leaving it up to you might be a nice vote of confidence, but it also means they're putting all the responsibility on you. Personally, I would never consider forming a group with people who can't decide what game(s) they want to play.

Thanks for the information. There are 10 people in the club. Some are couples and single people. No one really cares what we play. I was trying to play the games with the least odds. We have won 24.00, which I still have. I am going to find out if everyone wants to just buy more tickets. I was just asking for suggestions on how to break up the tickets.

First, don't go against the ideas on which the club was formed. These people are entrusting you with their money to do what the group decided as a whole. So the real question is, WHAT WAS THE IDEA THAT CAUSED THESE PEOPLE TO DONATE TO THAT POOL?

Is there a pool agreement that includes games to be played, splitting the wins, cut-off time for pay ins, etc? Determine what happens to the lower tier prizes. Are they split? Or do they go back into the players pool? These decisions need to be made a... [ More ]

Stay with the games that has lowest odds Pick 5 and pick 6 .. Ask all members in pool how they feel about this . If you all want to play mega-millions or powerball just remember the odds are against you on a Big WIN...

you re prob bette rplaying 5 times as many lines once a week, than lesser games ea day.

i mean if ou played 5 lines a day on fantasy 5, maybe 35 lines one day a week would increas chance of pulling a big hit.

assuming you do a wheel.and not quick picks

The club members leave it to me to buy the tickets. I thought I would buy 5 Fantasy 5 and play 7 days a week. and 5 mega money. Is that a good bet. Should I buy 1 powerball and pay 4 weeks?

Perhaps split your wager between the easiest game (Fantasy 5) and the one which promises the most reward for the group (Mega).

We have a lotto club with $200.00 a month to buy lotto tickets. What is the best way to break it down? Should we buy Fl lotto, Mega Money, or Fantasy 5? Or some of each. How many tickets of each game would you buy for the best odds? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
