I wheeled your coming soon numbers in a 2 if 2 wheel just to get an idea of how they will perform. The number 55 appears twice on your chart so I replaced it with 54. I placed the numbers into the wheel using the same numerical order as your chart with the exception of 37-1-16. With a little tweaking the H/L, E/O, decades, and sum distribution could be much better.

Using this chart I can better explain how I broke statistical ties. On gamenum 601, I would place 52 in the NDX 51, 31 in NDX 52, 24 in 53, 22 in 54 and 54 in NDX 55.

I had some success using a similar method playing Ohio's 5/39 Rolling Cash 5. Though my chart started with the most resent drawing from left to right, the principles are still the same. Another difference I had was not putting the most recent drawing in numerical order. On your chart the NDX's for the the most recent drawing are a statistical tie as are the NXD's for the drawing before. Added a selection criteria, if NDX has been in the past 12 Games (so for example NUM 2 has both the NDX and OUT selection (since it is red) AND it s current NDX is 5 (purple) which was part of the last 12 Games Making it a candidate for selection.

One Number from the NDX Selection = 22

Two Numbers from the NDX and Out Selections = 31 52

Not good enough to be a system yet, but better than I was suspecting. Definitely needs to be revamped to include some type of selection for those numbers which fall outside the NDX and/or OUTs methods.

looking at your system and doing backtest method i came in with 5 of the 6 numbers in 10 tickets the most was 3 on a ticket but they were there if i had wheeled thm im sure it would have shown the 5 boy that woukld havebeen nice ..........like your system compare it to what i do and you get pretty close just need to fine tune

I Just Noticed that neither of the above methods considers the repeats

The Repeats are those numbers selected in the last Game either as a repeat of the previous draw or had a High Out in the last Drawing

Just noting: The reason why MegaBall uses 599 Games instead of 600 -- is because my program does not set up an NDX for MEGABALL -- therefore there is no count nor NDX for a MegaBall at Game 600.........

Before you get into number averages, beware that it is as unreliable as number outs. You will have to derive 5 levels of number average spreads like was done for outs in this thread. If you come up with the same results that I have, you'll find out that only 1,2, or 3 numbers in any given winning combination will show as due like the number 52, that was previously discussed. Hi,

Given my tracking method (which has the last game value of 1 instead of 0),

the ranges with the best pecentages would be....

#1 outs... 1-5

#2 outs... 2-7

#3 outs... 3-18

#4 outs... 4-24

#5 outs... 10 up

One aspect is to look at a numbers average versus the amount of outs for that number.

ie...lotto number 52 has been drawn 62 times in the last 600 games (600/62=9.68). So, you have a

number that is picked on an average of every 9.68 games and is curren... [ More ]

Based Upon the Past 15 Drawings (Games) The following rules apply (by ticket line)

Rule One:

14 out of 15 Drawings had at least one number from drawings 0,1,2,or 3

Note: OUT zero means last Drawing, OUT one means next to last drawing

SO make sure your ticket line has at least one number with an out of 0,1,2,or 3 .

Also interesting to note but not hard statistical fact (so just an observation) if a number selected in the last drawing (so an out of zero) had a large out before that... [ More ]

I agree with this statement, as it would be extremely rare that a drawing would include all #'s that are many drawings out.

The way I collect data consists of #'s that are out 2 draws, 3 draws, 5 draws, 10 draws 20+ draws.

I select #'s from each group. That way some are farther out than others. That gives a good mix for # selection. Ill post up more later. Have a project I need to complete for work.......

If your comment was to mean; one should never select ALL the longest OUTS on one ticket Line; than I would say you are correct. Still working on the rule but right now it appears the vast majority of the winning numbers for any given drawing will be within the past 8 drawings.

Hi,

In tracking a few mega millions games a few things have become apparent...

The lowest last time picked value in a given combination should not exceed 8 games ago, the second lowest should not exceed 10 games ago, the third lowest should not exceed 18 games ago....

Therefore, selecting your numbers with the highest games out will eliminate the winning combination.

Consequently, any games out senario/filter would need a postional filter to work

Again, just one persons opinion.

The NDX Grid is based upon how often a particular index is selected. (Since the index is fixed in place a selection of the index can be captured and counted). Here is the GRID NDX and GRID Number for the 599 Game (again before draw 3/22/2011) So Grid index 4 goes with Number 40, NDX 14 is Num 26

In a nutshell; there are two methods both based upon the OUTS (The OUTS simply mean how long a number has not been selected.) The chart method simple orders the number into a chart from lowest index to Highest index. This was the Chart for game 599 (before the 3/22/2011 draw)

My assumption is that lottery players who fall within the completely random CAMP would not be following a thread trying to discover a system .

Facts are, regardless of what people say they think, they want to know if anyone else has a system that give them an advantage or they wouldn't be here. They just want enough information to duplicate their results if they are winning.

Regular Lottery Players basically, fall within two CAMPS

One CAMP feels the lottery is completely random and there is no way to predict a future drawing based upon past results. The other Camp believes it is possible to use the past drawing results to predict a future drawing. I fall into the CAMP that it is possible to predict. My reasoning goes as follows: 1) Certain Numbers have a higher frequency rate than other numbers. 2) Charting the outs shows that some numbers are chosen more often

I've been working on a system that categorize the winning combinations distribution patterns and for MegaMillions have 52 categories or which 12 cover 50% of all the combinations. So far I haven't picked many new combinations that matched more than 2 even when I used the winning category. I usually have to pick the winning mega ball to get a prize.

My main concern was that the four and three line matches were rare as well (2 and 20 -- out of 500 plus draws) is too rare.

What did you expect? Matching 5 or better with MegaMillions is probably a once in a life time experience or at least once in 3,904,701 plays experiences if you believe what's on the back of its play slips. If using a grid or any other means could reduce the chances of that happening within 600 combinations, someone would have probably done it by now.

Hi,

You may want to take a second look at out numbers. Typical distributions usually have two out numbers. Yes, sometimes only one, sometimes three, more rarely 4, and next to never for 5 out numbers.

In general, if you can track postionally with the preferred filters of choice, you are less apt to eleiminate the winning numbers or combination.

Bad New Gang:

I took the NDX Grid, developed for Mega and verified it against all the past drawings (up to 6/24/2005 which was last change). There were no five number line matches. There were two -- four number line matches. There were around twenty -- three number line matches.

Basically what I am saying is that this grid does not come up with a good system.

I will work on the grid and check it again to see if I come up with anything .

The next method I developed is what I call the NDX method (or Index Method).

I discovered in the Win For Life Game; some Indexes are chosen more often than others. I placed those indexes in a grid from the most select indexes to the least select indexes. That grid looks like this at this time.

Since I started this thread; it is only fair that I share some of the statistics I have developed to get to this dependable system. I use the Virginia Win For Life Game.
