Not really, you can cover 12 numbers in 4 lines to include each bonus ball. I would use the 3 if 4 abbreviated wheel with 12 combos.

If it was me, I would take the picks of three of my favorite pickers (litebets27, fja, rcbuckeye), eliminate duplicate numbers, cross reference with my best numbers, whittle it down to about 18 numbers, then set up wheel on a $ 200+ million dollar lottery. Who knows, you may get lucky

There have been a couple of folks who had a 5+0 collection of numbers in Maddog's challenges - check out fja's statistics - and even more folks who have had 4+0. And, I think I remember at least one 4 + 1. Also there are quite a few 2 person combos that would have yielded a jackpot win - again check fja's statistics. Whether the people posting the 5+0 collections of numbers actually won a 2nd tier prize *shrug* - no one has ever admitted to it :) The statistics charts are a very good way to see... [ More ]

I was just curious - Maddog's Powerball/MegaMillions challenge dominate the Jackpots forum. That being the case, has anyone won any good money using the #'s posted by members or is this an excercise in futility? Also is it best to choose 1 or 2 LP members numbers and then wheel them or a little bit from each member? I see a lot of 2 + 0, and an occasional 3 + 1 (Good call!) winners. Unfortunately, it is a different member each drawing. I guess what I am getting at is, what is the best way to use... [ More ]
