Strange, I signed up with VA and they only gave me a physical and a VA benefit card. I never got any numbers from them.

Maybe it was because I was a peace time Veteran.

If I were you, I'd ask for the VA manager at your branch and demand not to have the numbers sent to you.

I never knew the VA sent out Pick-3 numbers to Veterans. How come no one ever told me? Why are they in the lottery business to begin with

I signed up for this too when I registered a long time ago.

Then I got the first few emails... at 7:00AM the folowing morning after the draw. Are you KIDDING ME? That's the best they can do is 7AM the next day to send these out? I quickly unsubscribed from the service. I'd complain but I do enough complaining to them already.

For Mega Millions, USAMega is the best and quickest results, just a few minutes after 8PM. This is especially useful since they recently cancelled the live TV results... [ More ]

Yeah, I signed up with VA a long time ago and it was the same thing. They sent the winning numbers alright. It's just that they were a week late. Then when I cancelled the service, they just kept on sending the numbers anyway. I cancelled them 4 or 5 times and to this day they're still sending them. And still about a week late.

The only difference is they go directly to the spam file now.

When I registered, there was a checkbox for email alerts...But the main point is if they're going to provide the service, they should send out the correct numbers.

If you had access to their website or even that of USAMega which has the winning numbers within minutes of the drawing, why would you request they send you an e-mail with the winning numbers

If you've signed up for email alerts for winning numbers that are sent the following morning after a drawing, be sure to check the date of the drawing on the email. This morning I recieved my winning number email for Mega Millions which had last Tuesday's 5/3 winning numbers instead of Friday's 5/6 numbers. This has happened before that I've noticed...last time it was for Super Lotto. The best way is to just check the winning numbers on their website.
