I don't play scratchers very often, but today I just got the itch while I was buying my jackpot tics so I bought 2 $5 Black Cherry Doubler. Well, that was a waste of $10. LOL. So far this year, I bought $67 in scratchers and won $10.

I guess if I'm going to expect to win more money I need to buy a bunch instead of one or two every now and then. But that cuts into my jackpot ticket money.

Connecticut lottery has some decent winners, although nothing much to speak of. the most I have ever won is $500.

Don't really play Oklahoma Scratchers they don't have really good payouts also there games suck. The highest tictet we have is $5.00 usually for $30,000-$40,000 but only have 4/5 Jackpot winners per game in the whole state.....And they wonder why sales are down......

Hi iam new to the forum!

My state is ok with $1 $2(Ma) tickets.Just about broke even.I changed tatics and now iam winning $1-$50.I now look for throw away tickets on the ground and pick them.Some one discarded 4 skunked $5 dollar tickets and i bought one to win $50.

That was my exact thoughts. I think it was TGMobile who hit 10 spots for $50 each. I hit 10 spots, I am lucky to get $5 a piece. By the posts it seems Florida is WWWAAAAYYYY better than PA. maybe you guys play more than we do, but you def have the better winners.

It's funny how an opinion changes when you live in the state - I'd probably say Florida is good just reading the posts. LOL.

Mass. has the best lottery in the country. I think Fla , Geo , PA and NY round out the top 5.

Florida = Good (below average if im honest. I would of expected a 5 figure prize by now)

Statistically its one of the best in the country given odds and jackpots. But the return is not as good. I heard some states pay up to 75% back. Not Fla I think we only get 40% back.

In terms of evaluating your state, I mean frequency of wins you have, prize amounts you win,. grand prizes available, the odds of winning, and that kind of thing.

I'll rate them each for PA, and then come up with an overall PA rating.

Frequency of wins I have - below average

Prize amounts I win - below average ($100s are way down for me)

Grand prizes available - average (PA is a big state, so they offer a decent amount)

Odds of winning - average (middle-tier odds aren't bad)
