I remember last time I was there if you didn't want to venture off to the bank to get a deposit then you would have to accept a pretty good fee from any of the ATMs around the strip. We had driven there so just drove to the bank, but if you aren't doing that then I'd suggest bringing some extra money and keeping it locked up in your room safe.

If you want any tips about the gambling there in general, I'd suggest Jack Colton forums. They have a casino and gambling area that has some good tips... [ More ]

And I have to ask, what do you mean by the casino marketing kids working at Disneyland?

Make sure you sign up for the casino rewards cards (harrah's has the most properties, and MGM has quite a few as well). If you play enough you could get comped for some nice dinners, buffets, and even rooms. Like others said here, ask about the free slot play too!

GL in Vegas Win D! Sometimes that first 50 dollars does the trick! Also check to see if they give you free slot dollars for signing up for players rewards cards........some casinos will give you anywhere from 10 to 100 slot dollars on the first visit, and sometimes both the 1st and 2nd.

I'm going back to Vegas in July ! OH BOY !

It's been several years so I am really out of it. No one there knows me anymore...... l think all these casino marketing kids ...... used to work at DisneyLand. LOL

Any suggestions ? Last time I was there ......... I stayed at the Sands ! LOL Just kidding.....but the Mirage was still pretty new.
