for example, if you're keying in on two digits, how do you find the remaining pairs? for example if my two digts were 1 2 in 12XX, and I wanted to play these two digits with all possible pairs for XX.

First you have to factor the 9 digits three times because you're using three digits; 9 times 8 times 7 equals 504, then you divide that by the factor of three digits; 1 times 2 times 3 equals 6. 504 divided by 6 equals 84 combos.

I could be wrong but its like 36 numbers in each number group

All ten digits are found in 84 combos with four different digits. Using 0 as an example, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 134, 135...............567, 568, 569, 578, 579, 589, 678, 679, 689, 789.... [ More ]

Could u please list the zero group as an example? Because from my understanding and I could be wrong but its like 36 numbers in each number group and excluding the zero group that would leave 324 number combinations to add with the zero group correct? Please help

By placing each of the other 9 digits into unique groups of three. If you used 0 as your digit, you would use the 84 box combos from 123 to 789 (123, 124, 125, etc).

I have been playing the Pick-4 in a similar way for almost 25 years!

The method I play the most consistently is what i call the 3-in-4 method. In other words, I track the 1000 3 digit combinations and then I play my favorite 3 digit combos with the 0-9 in the fourth position.

Example:

I like 347, 267 and 119.

I play:

3470 3471 3472 3473 3474 3475 3476 3477 3478 3479

2670 2671 2672 2673 2674 2675 2676 2677 2678 2679

1190 1191 1192 1193 1194 1195 1196 1197 1198 1199

The constant doubles being played in the P4 would probably kill this System.

Instead of keying on one digit, key on two and play them with the other 28 pairs, the 8 doubles, and the 16 combos with both your key digits doubling up. For $26 you have 28 ways to cash for $100 and 24 ways to cash for $200.

An example using the digits 1 and 2:

These are my thoughts

The constant doubles being played in the P4

would probably kill this System.

Unless you know exactly when to

stop playing unmatched... waiting

for doubles to hit... then resuming.

Also, doing this locally would be tiring for the Clerks.

I contemplated doing this system before I knew how to Pick

P4 numbers , but worried about the Clerks cussing and fussing about entering

80 numbers through the machine...and abandoned that method really quickly... [ More ]

this system cost $42 a draw to play

the only way you win with this system is that the winning pick 4 number is a non repeating number

there are 84 different combinations for each number 0-9

so if you can just pick 1 of the 4 numbers right in the draw that you play you win as long as it is a non repeating number

you play all the numbers for the number that you choose for $.50 cents any order which is a total cost of $42

if you win it pays $100 for a profit of $58 for that draw
