When I post a link for people to download, I download it myself every few days and scan it

just to be sure it stays clean and remove the content after a few weeks. I don't trust anyone

and don't click many links at all.

Since this IS a thread created for the discussion of security issues related to embedded links in posts, when you replied to my post above with, See if you can find a link for paranoia, Nancy. And then mash down on it, I must logically conclude that you completely understand my question, and know the answer.

I'm sure there are many reading this who are not as well versed as you in HTML, so could you please explain?

This reminds me of a suspicious link I discovered here at LP. The poster was unable to explain it to my satisfaction, and nobody else commented. Perhaps someone here has the technical knowledge to explain it, and speculate whether it is benign, or NOT!

We selected, Yes - Very few after virus and hack researching.

We know there are many that have something good to offer, but we have to take the cautious path.

There are other rules, however, those are reserved for security reasons.

I visit those that sound interesting and are clearly lottery related.

Here is one, Lottery Top 100 Websites http://www.lotterytop100.com Lottery Post is one of the top 100 LOL what a surprise! What makes this site a little different is the site titles are not direct links, but instead return a search for the site title which can include some other interesting stuff.

I have AT T dialup service.

I once went to Turkey and studied Sufism and became quite an accomplished Whirling Dervish while waiting for a link to load.
