no they suck, $2M start for tue oz lotto, thats $1.20 a line, and $3M for thursday powerball thats umm $1.65 for 2 lines.

the odds are 1 in 45 mill for tue and 1 in 54 mill for thur

yeah well i did pay $60 to get those free tickets. so really they where half price tickets. still it was nice dreaming, and someone won thew $20 mill and $30 mill so both jackpots have gone. the $24 won was spent on 2 weeks worth for me and tyhe pal that won it. so i guess its still in play until those 2 weeks worth have run out.

all in all a good promotion and i usually grab some when theres extras to be had. i will buy again if such an offer is given again. oh and a group i play in also gra... [ More ]

Winning a lottery jackpot with any ticket free or bought would make me feel magical and special. I even felt that way for a while when I matched 5of6 for $1500 in the Ohio Super Lotto in 2002. I've been spending money trying to recapture that feeling ever since.

For me it does because I tend to practice some magical thinking. Like these are special because something in the universe made sure I won that voucher, so the universe must be telling me it's time to buy the tickets. Or maybe - Wouldn't this be a great story to tell on LP. I won 25 mil on a free ticket. I know that story is meant to be told, so I have to win so I can tell that story.

Ah sorry sg. Better luck next time. I've never won anything on a free ticket either. I won a voucher for 10 free powerballs just a couple months ago. Had to be quickpicks. Nothing nada zip zilch.

well isnt that a turn up for the books, the 3x 17 lines i bougt got 1 win of $24.15 and the 75 free lines got not 1 win.

but the regular numbers i picked got 3 winners, of 3x $15.55

the quick picks sure sucked and didnt get the powerball once on the 75 lines it picked

here in aust. my state is offering buy $20 in tue oz lotto for 17 lines. and get a free 25 lines in thur powerball worth $20.

of course they had to be quick picks.

the jackpots are $20 mill and $30 mill respectively. i bought 1 for family lotto syndicate and went halves with a pal on another 2.

and a 3rd syndicate im in bought another. so thats 68 and 100 in the respective draws.

now just to win some of the money back
