Think of the

financial worries some disabled people face, winning a large amount of money could be life-changing for... [ More ]

I would venture to guess that many disabled people have won the lotto. I'd also guess that unless the disability was noticable by just looking, some decided not to disclose their disability. I would imagine that the flood gates would open with people looking for handouts trying to use your disability against you.

Lets say you were on disability for depression and you disclosed that at a press conference. Sure it would make a good story but the planet is full of depressed people who now have... [ More ]

I can't quite understand how the question was offensive. It would be a very inspirational story to hear about someone that is truely disabled winning a lot of $$$ so they could live life to their fullest despite their misfortune.

It seems like there was a guy that won some $$ a while back that was on food stamps? I don't know why but i want to think i've read about stories with people on disability winning large sums of money. Or maybe it's their parents that are disabled? I think i rea... [ More ]

I've been young, a factory worker, a veteran, a minority, unemployed and now I'm old and retired and I have yet to win a lottery jackpot but I've read about others with those classifications winning. With my knees about gone I may also be classified as disabled before it's all over.
