Any idea what this 3-letter code may mean on a scratch off?

I've updated the page with your new codes.

I think some states are moving away from the codes. Maybe it's the new tickets that don't have codes. I'm not sure because I'm from Ohio.

Hey Big FIsh, I am glad you saw this. I have been meaning to update you.

I referenced your site the other night. Looks like for TN you can add:

TIC: TICKET (for the amount of the ticket purchased)

FTS: $20

BVS: $30

VCF: $1,000

So what do you make of tickets that do not have codes

That must be the reason why I only three codes on my site for Tennessee.

Do a Google search for Tennessee Scratch Off Lottery Codes .

I have no idea what that one stands for.... I am so glad Illinois doesn't put the letter codes on tickets anymore...

most of the time it spells out the money but i would take it to a store and have it checked who know it might be a lucky day for yougood luck

Actually it was for $20. For a minute I thought i might be for 5,000 (Five ThouSand) but that would mean I would have to be lucky.

Tennessee is weird in that anything over $16 (from what I have seen) seems to be some random 3 letter code and doesnt correspond to the prize amount the way the $1(ONE) $2(TWO), $3(THR) Prizes do.

Could it mean nothing? And just be a losing code? FL has some weird codes that are typically losing codes, unless its a Prize greater than $500, then the code is 3 weird letters. TN could be different

I have one that has FTS as the code.

The prize amounts are $10, 15, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 5000, 250,000

This is a $10 scratch off from the TN lottery.
