These recommendations of Mr Wilkie's - there's 40-odd in this report - are not a compromise. They are actually an extension. They go well beyond the agreement that he has with the Prime Minister and I don't know why that is.

Look it confirms what we already knew - that there will be a licence to punt. Anyone who wants to play their favourite poker machine will need to register, get the card, have their play tracked. The card will have personal details on it.

If the Federal Government gets its way, every Australian will have to apply for a licence just so they can have a $5 punt. Let the Federal Government know that you don t support the licence to punt by emailing your MP and signing the petition.
