The above question was on, The Lottery Changed My Life , tv program.

The answer was 33%.

I assume that number was for the US only. I bet the percentage for the UK and Australia is much lower, which I put down to anonymity. It is very rare to read about lottery winners in Australia. All winners have the right to anonymity and the vast majority choose it.
