When matching 5+0 pays $1M, there will be plenty of players buying a $2 QP. I wonder how many will pay extra for PowerPlay since it will only increase the payout for matching 5+0 to $2M.

Is this a sarcastic post? I think I'll be playing Powerball much less now that they doubled the price. I used to play when the annuity got around 60-70 million, but now I'll probably wait until it's well over the 100 million mark.

Why don't you go try your luck at KENO?

I play 'penny' Keno games where a pick-8 pays $1,000, it's nice because you can play 100 games for $1.00, and you can leave and have your ticket checked within a year.

So far, I have played maybe 50 times, and I've won twice.

Anyway, no, a 15 number + PB game is a nice thought but dumb idea, because after nobody has won it for two years and the jackpot is two Billion dollars, folks will be sceaming it's fixed, just as they are now with RB 28 never... [ More ]

I'm not hating on winners, I'd just like to see a game that's more competitive. People win Powerball and Mega Millions so often that it's really not a big deal anymore. Also it would be fun to play for bigger prizes. Imagine if the game I proposed hit the jackpot cap at $1 billion dollars. I guarantee you convenience stores around the country would have lines several blocks long to buy tickets. OK, to answer your questions, no I've never won a jackpot and I never will. My best hope is for 4+1 or maybe 5+0 on PB or MM. The jackpots are impossible for some (like me) to win, but too easy for others (who have won). I really think people would win the jackpot of this game I proposed and it would probably be won at least 4 times a year. and powerball going to give you that, by upping the amount to 2 bucks per ticket,

jackpots will be sure be won with more or same

but higher jackpots overall starting 2012

You're confusing losing with winning, if it's so easy to win why haven't you won? Just because buying a ticket isn't harder for a winner than it is for a loser doesn't mean winning is as easy as losing.

It's been WAY too easy for people to win Powerball and Mega Millions. I know most of you don't think so, but if you asked any winner I'm sure they'd tell you it was too easy.

I would propose a game where you pick 15 numbers + 1 bonus ball. You'd need huge ball hoppers to hold all the #'s, but I'd propose regular #'s for this game go from 1-9,999. Bonus ball #'s would go from 1-4,999.

I'd like to see people try and win this one every single drawing. lol
