I guess getting the number straight is not so easy. If it was, we would hear of more people winning millions. All it takes is to win 25,000 times box for a year to win a million (not too easy either). I think even 50,000 a year would be good.

Pick-3 is still the most played online game and is second only to scratch-off tickets in sales. It would take a $2000 bet to win $1 million and the bets have been made many times but I don't recall reading where any of them won. Five figure payoffs are more common than we think because a $20 bet will get you that. Six figure wins are more common in pick-4 games but people have won over $100,000 playing the pick-3 too.

I've been playing Pick 3 and 4 for a couple of months now. I won once for $290, that is because I had a straight box and got all 3 numbers directly in a row in order! I don't think you can win millions playing the pick 3, it would be too difficult. But it is nice to win, even if you grab a box hit for $40 or $80 in Illinois...

I wonder if many people play Pick 3. I'm not playing it yet but have been thinking about it. The only thing that gets me is - how much you have to keep up with it (back and forth) trying to catch a number all for some change.
