Every states seems to have their own system for Automatic Machine. For Instance in New Hampshire, they have almost all the existing systems available. They have the regular retailer computer system. They have small self-service QP behind the counter machine. They have the regular self-service machine that sells Powerball, Megamillions, Tristate-Megabucks and Hot Lotto QP NO PICK 3/4 QP option, but it does take Pick 3/4 slip and they also got the scratch-off machine. LOL, I did draw a small crowd of onlookers in front of a grocery store one time while liberating the newspaper I had paid for, some smiling their approval, some shocked and of course one lib calling the authorities.

I work fast though.

No, Sully, those have been around for a long time, these new ones are for the numbers games but from what people are saying I don't know if that includes Pick 3 and Pick 4.

I like that they have installed those machines at Chicago O'hare International airport as I sometimes fly out early or arrive late in the evening but just before drawing closeout, but the lottery station at O'hare often unmanned at those times. At least now, I can buy QPs for MM and PB. I am not a fan of pick 3/4 since even though I see people winning money, it isn't significant enough money for the money wagered for me to bother playing. I have never seen a QP 3/4 picks option self-service machine in any states, so far your state is not different than the others

I'm from Illinois too and those new machines are a pain in the @SS. At all 3 of the places I get my

tickets most of the time, the machines have broken down quite a bit. I've talked to the store

owners and they cant stand them.

I cant understand why they didnt include a pick 3/4 option with the machines. It will however

accept play slips, incuding the pick 3/4 ones.

They have those small terminal behind the counter in New Hampshire too. I have seen them in some NH Liquor Store. I am a truck driver and a big lottery fan, I love to look at the different system use in different states.

I haven't seen those machines down here yet.

Northstar is going through some changes.

The game labels on the top of the tickets look different, for one.

I subscribe to the e-amil results for Little Lotto but haven't seen one in three days.

I re-subscribed on the site and got this as a reply:

Dear Subscriber,

The Illinois Lottery is undergoing system upgrades. As a result, the Payout email

Loto-Quebec tried those machine 10 years ago in Grocery Stores and removed them due to customers complains and grocery clerks being harrassed by wealth fare people trying to screw them for 2$ saying that the machine did not printed the ticket etc... They install instead small Quick Pick terminals maybe 10 inches X 4 inches behind each cashier operated by the grocery clerk. You still have the main terminal for 3 or 4 picks, or self Picks where you can buy cigarettes and return empty bottles. Far

I have been guilty of Rage Against the Machine on a number of occasions. Not lottery machines per se, but newspaper and pop machines and pay phones years ago.

Oh yes, woe be to the newspaper machine that takes my money and doesn't give me a paper.

There are a couple draw games in Idaho that don't have their own buttons too. They should have made the machine with a few more. Here you have to grab a play slip for those games and mark the QP on it if you don't want to choose your own numbers.

from Northstar. I was going to play pick 3 or pick 4 and there are no

options on the machine to play those games. Did I miss something
