Suspicious play...???? That is funny..not the 'having the hardest time' but it's not like you were turning in rainchecks..lol!!

It kills me all the time when I see the funny little sign some stores have displayed: Play here! We pay here! (something along those lines)

Well, go and try to cash a ticket even more than a hundred dollars at some places....they screw up their faces and look all dumbfounded..

then they go look in their drawer and say...'Uh, maybe in an hour'...... [ More ]

If you were supposed to play, you would have played. That's like saying you would have gotten hit by the bus if you would have walked in front of it when it made that turn. But you didn't walk in front of it because you had to buy that cup of coffee at the corner store, and you forgot to play the lotto and win 100K. Get what I'm saying? I missed 100 grand too in 2007.

I told the clerk to give me the maximum multi-draws on Cash5 in Virginia. It doesn't say how many you can get on the playslip.

She said it was 48 draws and gave me that.

All 5 of my numbers came in on the 49th draw.

I found out later the maximum multi-draws is 91.

My fault for not looking it up I know but she should have known that.

It happened to me. I missed out on $5,000 a $500 win because I didn't play my lines. I had my tickets filled out and didn't get to the store. I vowed then and there, if I choose my numbers and fill out my slips, I am going to go to the store and play no matter what. It's not worth the agony of missing out on a win.

Advice: Just make sure to get to the store if you have a set of numbers choosen or play quick picks.

This has happened to me before on Florida's Fantasy 5 about 1-2 years ago. I was pissed off at myself for a while and then took a vow to always play my #s regardless of chain of events.

My personal rule is, once I fill out the cards I will play them no matter what. This also happened to me on FL's Pick 3 but it was only for $250.00 vs a big jackpot. The last time I wasn't nearly as pissed off at myself.

Anytime you fill out a play card PLAY THEM.

Your wife can keep the guessts entertained while you go out and get your ticket quickly. If they ask where you going say you're heading to the gas station and pick up some drinks. People love beer/wine. Then the leftover can be use to celeberate your winning ticket. Well, that was a 100k lesson.

Just wanted to say that after a long time playing Mass Cash I had the jackpot number amongs my 20 numbers that were to be played for the night. Well, I had the tickets all filled out and was going to the local store to play them when the phone rang. We had company arrive at the house and the wife wanted me home pronto so I figured I could take them to the store after they left. Well they didn't leave until very late and I didn't get to the store.
