Good point, chipp.

I never played by subacription and didn'know about lottery debit cards until they put that message on there.

A few days ago it was saying will be paid by cash until August 21st, then debit cards.

And darn it, it used to be the voive of Linda Kollmeir with the winning numbers, that's gome too!

I'm somewhere between not trusting these guys too much and thinking it's just a management team more concerned with promoting themselves and their new little gold min... [ More ]

An e-mail I sent to Northstar:

A lot of long time players and website visitors find it quite curious that the new monitors show winners first names, pictures, game and amount won, yet the Payouts page on the webite no longer show what store sold the winning ticket, or if the ticket was QP, subscription, or a player's pick (by ommission or QP or subscription.).

Also, what happend to the e-mails with the winners?

Yeah, reg. This new regime sure has me wondering.

Last night both Little Lotto and Lotto got hit for jackpots, but the Winning tickets weresold at is still blank for both games. Yet, they are still platering the first names and pictures of people who win on the newmonitors where tickets are played. At least they cut that back to first names and amounts, at first it was first and last name and town. I don't know what the minimum win amount is to get on there but they are showing scratcher and... Here's the thing, by not reporting where the winning ticket was sold what's not to say it was a phantom jackpot winner, somebody somewhere goes south with the $325,000, and the new jackpot is back at the $100,000 start point.

These guys make me wonder.

They sent out the e-mail for the Little Lotto (IL Pick 5) for Aug 30, but not the 31st or Sep 1st yet.

This is on the website for Sep 1 results, I've never seen this before, I bolded below where it says Winning Tickets Were Sold At because it doesn't give a location. Something ain't right with this.

Also on the monitors yesterday it was showing Steve and Jo won $15,000 on the Pick 4. They must have hit a straight for $3 worth but now you can't hit a Pick 4 wit... [ More ]

I have to agree, since they took over it seems a lot worse. They haven't updated the instant game remaining prizes list since August 16th! And it took them forever to verify winner's information for the first drawing for the first Wheel of Fortune drawing a few weeks back. Yes, their operations were turned over from the state to them. The state still gets their kickback but Northstar takes a huge chunk now too.

Well there's another new wrinkle where you play the tickets, the monitor now tells you how much was won at that specific store last week, not sure if that includes scratchers but I'm thinking it does....but still no e-mails with the daily results.

So far I'm not rral impressed with these guys.

They're not sending out the e-mails with the game results and only updating jackpots on the website, where as prior to them taking over there was a daily posting of where jackpots were hit, how many winners, and what type ticket.

Now the website shows this:
