im in CA and i play the fantasy5 almost every night and also buy scratchers regularly but i like to play the fantasy 5 here more cuz the odds are 1 in 575,757 and the odds of hitting top prize on almost all of the scratchers $2 and above here is 1 in 600,000 and above and the top prize is always smaller than the fantasy5 except in a few of the $5 games we have but the odds of hitting top prize on those is 1 in 1,200,000, just based on the odds compared to scratchers i like fantasy 5 and i have h... I don't play lotto anymore, just scratch off. The odds of winning ANYTHING with lotto is pretty remote while the odds of winning something from scratch off is quite high. I won like 50 bucks 7 times already but never won more than 2 bucks from lotto.

I sometimes play but not religiously. ive hit 4 out of 5 2-3 times.

I know a guy who plays $1K per week F5 he hit it once for $117K. he hits loads of 4 of 5

Hey James that would be like $36,500 a year ! I know of 4 people who won. 2 were around $50K (split pot) 1 was the top prize that day ($179K) the other is a guy who is a bud and bought 20 QP's every Sat night. He won some $60K (split pot) and was playing just for a year. ($1,040 total) It's always the battle between your own #'s and QP's as to which one is the best.

I bet if you pluck down $100 per drawing you can nail this sucker within a year, or get very close lots of times. i see constantly the signs hanging around in publix stores where people hit the jackpot.

Out of all of the FL Lottery games, Fantasy5 is probably my favorite. It seems the most attainable vs scratchers. Over the past 2 years I've been following patterns of Fantasy 5 very closely and only play when I feel a pattern is due. Once I get locked on a due pattern, I will play that pettern until it hits. That narrows down my odds and gives me the ability to have a better chance.

The odds of winning Fantasy 5 are 376,992 to one. For one dollar you have a chance to win between $4,581 (lowest prize ever with 47 winners) to a prize over $200,000. I realize the instant gratification of a scratch off beats waiting around to see if you won the next day.
