to play pair in ohio, youd donot put on play ticket the vender has to physically do it. so when you play front pair, write on paper 70X .50 cent bet. bakc pair would be X70 50 cent bet. split pair would be 7X0 .50 cent bet. a .50 bet pays 25.00 and 1.00 bet pays 50.00

Example: If you bet 1.00 on front pair 70X and the number pulled was 702. you would win 50.00

If you bet 1.00 on back pair X02 and the number pulled was 702, you would win 50.00

If you bet 1.00 on split pair 7X2 and... [ More ]

I don't normally play the Pick 3, but I decided to give it a whirl tonight.

Picked 7-0-2 and 7-1-6. Winning number was 7-0-6. (Sigh...so close...)

Anyhow, I wanted to know how it works playing pairs in Ohio. At first I thought perhaps that I matched 2 pairs 70* and 7*6, and would therefore get $50.

But, that appears not to be the case. So, I just wanted to clarify to make sure I understand now:
