Success stories are usually interesting to read.

I remember a story where someone won over $250,000 in the Florida Lottery's Play 4 game several years ago. The winner bet a lot of tickets on one number (some boxed and some straight) and that number came in. If I recall the press release from the lottery website, they had to process each winning ticket separately and the winner had to come back the following day to finish all the ticket claims.

$80 wouldn't be bad for $10 bet and $250 back on a .50c combo for $36 bet would be OK too if you didn't play every day. And if I got $1 straight with it that would be better yet.

I had the same question. I wonder if anyone make more than they pay out. Is it really possible? Does it work better with the computer pick or do they manipulate it so it's not possible.

actually i'm curious too. if someone has had the tenacity to get good enough to make by using their wits i'm all for 'em. it would be motivating. i'm new to pick three and think i am starting to see some patterns but it would be encouraging to know someone somewhere is using their experience and having the balanced judgement to make it in P3 or P4 world. just my thought.
