Living in Tennessee, I can't comment.

I don't need those black helicopters hovering over my cabin every night for another week with the search lights and the loud speakers keepin me up.

It's the loudspeakers that really get to me though:

Some people cain't keep they dadgum mouth shut!

Be a shame anything happen to all them dogs now, son!

People need to mind they own business!

This is just another example of why live ball drawings are better than computer drawings. It reduces the possibility of errors and accusations of the lottery being fixed.

RE: Tennessee and the no repeeats. Were people given the chance to turn in those tickets and get a refund or free plays for them, or was it just a devious way of creating an absolute 'lock' for the lottery? And what about people who checked their tickets and threw them away

That kind of arrogance is common among lottery people as recently noted with the Massachusetts lottery and their rundown scheme for their pick6 game. Player complaints weren't taken seriously until a news story about it threatened their ticket sales.

It was when TN first switched to RNG drawings. The no repeat numbers was checked because the same machine was used for their pick-5 drawing too. I think arrogance was the reason it took so long to correct the problem. The director felt the complaints about no doubles being drawn was just an attack on her decision to us the RNG.

Had they programed the RNG for pick-3 or pick-4 first and left the no repeat numbers unchecked, pick-5 players may have seen the same number drawn twice or more in one... [ More ]

Computerized numbers are the results of a program but with use of randomizing features, no one can know which numbers will come up until after it happens. In the case of Tennessee, the program was mistakenly set not to repeat any numbers so no doubles or triples came up until the program was reseted to allow numbers to come up more than once.

When Tenneessee first got lotto no triples could be drawn in the Pick 3, but players could play them.
