Picking 6 numbers for a 5/39 game and wheeling them is almost like picking only 5 numbers and hoping to get a hit, you know the odds of that happening.

Although it is one of my favorite games to play (Fantasy 5) , it seems it is the hardest to win the larger jackpot. So far I've won free plays by just hitting only two numbers out of five. CA Lottery doesn't pay out on this game if you get one number either. I played my own set of numbers combined with a quick pick, and still I've stalled in just winning only two numbers. In this case, persistence would have to play a big part in playing this game and I guess a bit more patience as well.... [ More ]

Ohio has a 5/39 game and the overall odds of winning something every time you play are 1:8.7 but its jackpots hardly ever get over $300K. If you're the type that like to do a workup of previous drawings before playing, it's almost impossible because the drawings are daily and there have been over 2400 of them.

I prefer to have a day or two between drawings so I can enjoy planning my next move.

I agree the Cash 5 , Easy 5 and Fantasy 5 games is one of the Best to play besides Pick 4 games ...

The Pick 5 jackpots don't come close to comparing to the Pick 6 or Pick 5 + 1 jackpots.

Five and six digit wins are nice scores but relatively little in comparison to 7, 8, and 9 digit payoffs.

I play a 5/39 game every day because in ones lifetime you are more likely to hit 5 of 5 than 6 of 6 or 5+1, but you could still go several lifetimes without hitting one.
