Once again welcome firefly11 in NY...Best advice tiggs can give you is to follow what ridge runner has said...ridge has helped tiggs out and with his help tiggs now lives in a group home and given 3.00 a week for candy ciggs and things..The rub downs are great but at tiggs age any rub down is great..tiggs gives all the thanks to ridge who is.................................

RDGRNR, I only run my group lottery with my co_workers I have known for years, and work daily with. I would never do anything abroad,or on the internet. Thanks for commenting.

By the way, put some consideration to a group lottery.

I would add a caveat to that part: Only consider a lottery group composed of family, friends or co-workers that you know very well.

It is very risky getting into lottery groups composed of people you don't know or doing it over the internet and it is especially risky sending money to another country, particularly countries like Canada or Nigeria.

Welcome to Lottery Post nyfirefly11. Always remember to pay your bills first!!! Then have fun with the numbers. My advice would be, always make sure your in a big game with a good jackpot. Then you can play the 3 and 4 numbers by yourself. By the way, put some consideration to a group lottery. There's strength in numbers..Good luck

Read anything that interests you.

Do a search on the game that interests you the most, or the one you intend to play.

Get some play slips and read the back.

Visit your state lottery site, or the one for the game you intend to play.

Don't listen to anyone who GUARANTEES they can teach you to win the jackpot.

Do go out and get a couple of QPs/personal picks for tonight's Powerball.

Read everything that interests you here in the forums and use the search feature to look up anything you'd like to learn about.

In the meantime put a buck or two on Powerball tonight using Quick Picks or your Birthday/favorite/lucky numbers. Big pot tonight, wanna have a dog in the fight.

Starting as a newbie

Hello everyone!

I'm sure this question has been addressed before, but what's the best way to start out? Should I pick a particular system? How do I do that?

I can play pick 6s in NY (USA), and PB and MM.

I'm sure there's a ton of great info on these forums, but wading through everything without a clear direction or starting point seems like a bad idea.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
