This was their main number used. They designed this fake number so to speak so a phone call could never be traced or pinpointed from any particular extension within the Times, in the event of a subpoena. Then on August 15, 2011 the number died. This happened because the Times evidently got word that a federal law was going to take effect where all caller ID numbers had to be true.... [ More ]
