The lottery (lotteries) I am trying to update are the Illinois Lotto, Little Lotto and Mega Millions. When I do the live updates for Lotto and Little lotto the most recent update shows to March 7, 2012. The mega Millions is even later.

Not a big problem... I click on the file to get the Notepad to manually update the files and that only goes up to 08/08/11. When I had entered all the draws that would bring it current, I am unable to save it. Software tells me that it is unable to... [ More ]

The real question here is how do you define lottery system .

I personally see a lottery system and a mathematical algorithm as two completely different entities.

A system could be drinking six pints spinning around touching your nose while standing on one foot and shouting a number repeating until you pass out or pick all your numbers whichever comes first, or it could be a mathematical based process, it's a very gray area, where does fringe science end and science start?

After years of research, analysing and testing I have finally produced a perfect mathematical algorithm for any pick 4,5,6 game.

It does not use past draw data but the entire pool to calculate the best numbers and positioning on tickets to maximize win ratios.

I try my hardest not to sale LSA as a system, I don't like when people refer to LSA as a system because it is not.

It's a statistic Analyser for lotteries (Lottery Statistic Analyser) no more no less. I prefer to think of it as a calculator for lotteries and as with a calculator the output is only as good as the input.

If you dont get a reply try again without using the word lottery, it could have been blocked by the spam filters BT put in place.

I think too many players expect commercial lottery software to do more than entertain them in spite of their disclaimers for entertainment only Aside from that many do have features that some players find helpful when deciding which numbers to play. Ultimately, players have to come up with their own strategies for winning and just use computer software as one of their tools.

I looked at Boinc website and developing lottery programs doesn't sound like their kind of project. Besides developing a lottery program doesn't take much computing power, just some ideas and programmer who can code them. In fact it's probably harder to come up a good idea than than a good programmer.

You speak the truth for sure lots of information is spread out here just need to sort thourgh it. I wish I could program and was why I suggested getting in touch with the people from Boinc its open source allows many comps to work on major advance problems and would speed up the time needed.

Sounds like an interactive website would be needed. When I brought a copy of Lotto Pro back in 2000, they had one but later did away with it. I think there were too many people coming to it to promote their ideas along with their software.

Actually, LP an interactive/interconnecting website and you can see how the ideas are just flowing about here.

I still think the selection or prediction of #s is more important than wheel management. Indeed, your program needs to improve further even LSA is a good software for JP game such as P5/P6 (I have not yet found LSA can play P4 too.) I have been very busy designing a new test system for a large UK aeroplane manufacturer. Two weeks until handover.....

Any way I have done some work on my lottery software, implementing a full blown syndicate manager in to LSA. I am implementing a live section that enables users to share files and information on strategies etc within LSA.

I have added more reports including a real time moving graph to spot trends over time. Improved wheel management so users can keep track of numbers used

I once spent several months explaining what I was doing, how my system/tools worked, posting my predictions and following up with reviews of their results. After several members complained my thread had gotten too long and too bothersome to read and that I was repeating myself I ended the thread. Last Friday MM drawing is a good example. I posted 10 lines on the prediction board which I also played and matched 1+1 with MB11.

I came up with my MB numbers by checking which MB positions repeated most of the 700 previous drawings since the last matrix change and the most recent 350 drawings. I made lists of the top 14 of the 700 drawings and the top 13 of the 350 drawings and used the ones on both lists and position #45 (MB11) was one of those.

For one thing when playing MM and PB I always look at the most popular repeat positions of their bonus numbers and pick numbers from those positions. I think my win percentages are higher than if I picked them randomly.

I agree totally that the selection of numbers is the most important part. If we could get that down pat we would all be having lottery post winners parties across the globe. That being said I just tried and I guess failed on how a program like this could be used.

Its all about positional slotting of your numbers. If I have a ticket play that is say as the above example

In his last post Developer said he simply didn't have a lot of spare time and his computer had been calculating day and night on his ball placement theory. If it's taking that long to calculate stuff for the game he plays, when do you think he's going to have time to do any calculating for other games? Ohio has that too in a PDF file and to make things more interesting they combined all the drawings(pick3/4-noon/evening, Rolling Cash5, Classic Lotto, PowerBall and MegaMillions) on the same lines by dates. Get a copy of the .net framework SDK free from Microsoft and get a second hand version of Visual Studio, get on the web and follow the millions of examples.

This is how I did it, no training, just jumped in.

13 years on I have a great and long term secure job coding software to test the electrical systems on planes among other things..

I am currently part of a team developing a bond test application for a passenger airliner, its interesting work and I love my job.

Saying they lack (money for) this or that program sounds better than saying they want someone else to invest the time effort on whatever idea they are putting up.

RJOH, what are we going to do? While the rest of the world enjoys 24 hour days, dr san is getting less hours in his day! And after his post, I'm afraid to send him any program bigger than 3K lest it smoke his Commodore64.

I understand why you choose to not learn programming. You certainly wouldn't want to plagiarize somebody's ideas. That couldn't be good in your country.

Of course, being that you aren't from America, you possibly don't understand plagiarism. I would be happy to explain it, but I'd have to plagiarize Plagiarism.org. It would be better if you took the time to Google it.

Hey Time*T this is such a dilemma.

dr san can't use Excel to open a huge file, and he can't afford the paper to print it on! This is a major problem.

It reminds me of my own depraved childhood. Every year, from December until February, I had to wait for the snowplow so the sno-cone truck could get to my front door. That is real child abuse!

Hello, RJOL, the big problem is that it needs time, and in Brazil does not have the use of resources

Hopefully we've got Americans, who are more advanced some 25 to 30 years in IT, compared to the 3rd world countries, rjol, what do you think of the concept of split pairs and trios, etc.
