We've had hundreds of posts suggesting that jackpot winners should hire financial advisers, lawyers, tax CPAs and remain anonymous. We know the three guys are financial advisers, they formed a trust, and talked about donating money to charity. If the real winner is a fourth person, they covered all the bases and can anonymously spend their winnings.

It's obvious it only takes one ticket to win especially when there is only one winning ticket.

It's also been rumored that on occasion I have told nice looking women that I'm a State Senator.

Of course I would never do anything like that.

It has happened before where two friends buy a ticket and agree if either of them win, they both share. Maybe this time it was three friends.

And therein lies the reason so many have jumped on the conspiracy bandwagon.

They heard it was one single line on one single ticket bought for three guys and didn't consider that there could have been many single line tickets.

When I ask for $5 in QPs, some clerks will give me five combos on one ticket and others will give me five separate tickets. If one of those tickets is a big winner, I won't take the losing tickets to lottery headquarters. It's possible the winner only bought 1 ticket but it's more likely it was one of many.
