What is your opinion about buying scratch offs out of a vending machine?

Buying from a vending machine seems better because you don't have to worry about the cashier sniping your win after buying 6 straight losing tickets in a row. my .02

Yeah they aren't any luckier in theory but for what it's worth I've had the best wins from the machine. I only get them from the counter if there is no machine or I do not have cash. Usually I get quite a bit of tickets so I'm not really comfortable asking for a bunch at the counter because I just think the cashiers are judging me or something. Just a little peeve I have I guess or I'm just paranoid :O

Well considering that I see people in the store scratching and then getting (if that card is not a winner) back in line to buy another, I can see where the vending machine would work faster. But some people believe there are more winning tickets in the vending machine than at the counter.

How can this be, that is if it is true

ill tell u why its better... u can take ur time an buy 1 ticket at a time and if that wins u dont spend money buying the next few losers after it.

I have never purchased from a vending machine, but a cashier told me today that some people swear by them. She said she doesn't know why some people feel it's better to get them out of a vending machine because they are the same as the rolls they have on the counter. What do you think
