Wow, in all this, I forgot to include what's probably the single most important part. Every, any, and all players' system BEGINS With The Removal Of Numbers in some form. This is where the pre-draw shine and dominate every time. So, if there is in fact a best way of removing numbers, combinations, etc... the pre-draws will definitely find it at some point because that's the pre-draw's job and it makes the states money in doing so. Okay, I'm done.

Hmmm, I see that the pre-draw topic still manages to top the charts. Years ago, when I was spending substantially more time here, I discussed pre-draws and how they most definitely affect a player's method/system/approach...choose your liking. When this thread was started, I expected the premise would be along the lines of With only the draw data, my system has X% success rate, but with the pre-draw data added, it jumps (or drops) to Y%.

Seems to me, if a difference in results can't be quantified, there's no point in doing the extra data collection.

I dont actually recall ever using that phrase.

I have talked about using core combinations that tend to follow a given statistical curve if that is what youre referring to.

If you think about it, there's a good chance a lot of players are going to match one of those test drawings simply because there are four of them.

Most people don't understand how math is used to entice players to continue playing. The Pick 3 game was designed to encourage players to pick their own numbers. Players want a fair and random drawing they can watch on TV if they choose. Your argument seems to be against the process used by the lotteries to insure a fair and random drawing. From the comments I've read, the only adverse effect the tests have on the players is when they publish the test results after the drawings and that only affects the players that played one or more of the those test numbers.

Look back at the pre-test and 000 was the draw in the fourth pre-test on the tenth.

How do we account for the 273 being drawn 7 days from each other in the actual draws.? Did the pre draws and post draws force the 273 to be drawn again on the actual draws? Both mid draws I see. Could we still have the possibility of it being drawn in the eve draw? Or does the mid draws corrupt the eve draw stats?

If we had the results of the last 12,000 tests made before the 3000 drawings those 50 numbers went AWOL, maybe all of them were drawn. But if there was an effect on the data, the same would show up on all the numbers.

pick3 is a lot harder to master than it seems.

That's why I don't it's a good idea to worry about what's drawn during the tests. In all Pick 3 games some numbers will hit more than average and some numbers will be dead.

The 1,000 str8 chart is not my first line of approach to the game.

I use other approaches to get numbers and place my choices str8 using a variety of methods including reviewing the 1,000 str8 chart.

I currently have the 5-7-3 any digit by position due any time.

I would consider using the 5xx with the 543 exact among others.

It all boils down to what percentage value you want ....go back and look at the chart and be aware that you could lose serious money while only playing one single straight played combination.

pick3 is a lot harder to master than it seems .

Looking at the odds, it's easy to explain. You have 50 numbers out of 1000 so the odds against 1 of the 50 being drawn is 950 to 50 or 19 to 1 in every drawing until one hits and then the odds become worst for the remaining numbers. The odds will always favor a duplicate number being drawn when more than 500 numbers are drawn. If 500 different numbers are ever drawn in 500 drawings, somebody better be checking the RNG.

That's where I first saw it. Here's the way it works (as I grasp it), for folks who've never seen it ...

1) The game has 1000 combos and you play one of them (straight), per round.

Here are results for all states.

As you will see, the states where all the straights have hit, show an amount of draws it has taken before all 1000 had shown up in straight format.

This amount circles around 5474 and 6557 draws draws.

Another thing you might notice, is that whenever a state reaches total draws of 5000, the less numbers are left unhit (straight format)

Note : There's nothing special about this, but when you have a state with enough draws, meaning at least 8000 or so,... [ More ]

My intent when starting this thread was not to bash people who wanted to post .

My findings are that there are no missing structures whether they be digits,pairs or combinations because we dont have all the data.... im not a software designer/developer who makes tons of money from selling such so youre probably more than likely to get an unbiased commentary.

I have answered ... go back and look at the NC draws that i posted where those triples hit in the pre-draws and not in the live draws....there are tons of people in north carolina that were highly pizzzed off knowing that the combinations they were playing had hit in the pre-draws and matter of fact there were three triples that popped alone in that given month....

this is yet another case where pre-draws effect the outcome.

Try doing this with your program : feed into it missing data in the form of a RNG for at least four draws for every live draw then compound the results and see what the outcome will be.

Im serious go ahead and do it ....then calculate the missing structures.

Dunno if it is normal or not. It might be written in the contract the state has with G-Tech, or part of the by-laws of the lottery commission of the state.

The only explanation for the post test is to ensure nothing was tampered with during or after the pre-test or during the live draw. Other states may have a post test as well. For all I know Texas might and not publish that fact.

It would appear to me that they are attempting to break up the drawing stats cycle having random amounts of pre and post test drawings.

I would almost guess they have lottery software of their own checking on the randomness of the actual draws. Software users rely heavily on stats on what they want to play.

Thanks for replying Jap69. They have 4 pre-tests and 5 post tests standard for them and have told us that they have more when they need to. Like I said before when I got the history from them, some were up to 16 some were 9. I think that's what the issue is and the information is not readily available, it's months back.

I look at pairs mainly, and dates that play into the equation when making my choices. Plug that into your computer and tel me if the stats are still the same with pre tests, ball sets, and machine rotaions taken in account, then call me in the morning.

somer, there has been nothing presented that proves, or should lead anyone to believe a pretest, a ball set, ball machine, or any other outside influence affects the outcome of the draw.

126 fell tonight

The longest out ball by position is 1-2-4

If I do a search on that actual draw history the 1-2-4 by either position have been out a total of 29 draws with a most out of 23 draws using 6,258 draws.

again, you don't read correctly. right after you put up the stats, i said what you think is the ideal way to determine whether the stats are good or not is not a universal one. your checkpoints might not be someone else's qualifying factors.
